She is the most complete vocal artist there is out there. She is INCREDIBLY talented.
Her gift is not her voice, but all the hard work she puts into her voice to sound so amazing using so many tonalities, rhythms, flavours and 'personalities' in a single song.

Chris, you are absolutely phenomenal. The way you articulate Ado’s technical abilities while encouraging and teaching your audience to try it themselves is something that other coaches on RUclips struggle to do. Please definitely look into more Japanese artists and break them down! There’s so much talent in that country waiting for more of an international spotlight.

The disturbing (jama) who was singing at the age of 16, which Ado had not yet debuted, already has a wonderful expression. After that, when she was 17 years old, she sang a song called bocca della verita with the theme of jealousy and a song called Loveca similar to Aishite. All the lyrics are negative emotions, but I respect her who changes the way she sings accordingly♪😊It's an interesting video to know about Ado in the past❤

What I love so much about Ado's singing is that she makes EVERY sound her mouth creates part of her songs and imbeds them flawlessly. May it be a breath, a simple "huh" or just a single tune, she let it flow so easily into the song and melody that it sounds like the song just couldn't work without them. Thats something I haven't really seen much with western singers who always try to keep their songs clean and "perfect"

@@cry9438 Her schedule is very dense, it’s the same in Europe. In Bangkok she had her first point and she was very lively, performed 21 songs, she also grew a lot as a performer, from those who were at her early concerts I heard that she lost her voice at the first songs and then just tried to survive, interacted minimally with the audience, but in Bangkok she talked with the people, did the build-up in the songs, and only at the end, just at the odo, her voice got a little hooked.

While I was going through your course about a year ago, I was constantly listening to Ado's music, comparing my voice, trying different techniques that I heard from her, and imitating her sounds. I can say that Ado has such an interesting voice, and I learned so much by combining her music with your lessons. It is also fun to measure progress that way, in how I can see myself being able to do similar sounds and techniques which Ado herself uses progressively better and better. That has been one of my biggest motivators, and I am forever grateful for your lessons. While it hasn't always been flowers and sunshine when practicing (because I kept comparing myself too much to singers, a bad habit...), it surely taught me a lot. While peoples goals vary differently depending on their individual desires, I am happy to just be good enough to feel satisfied with my singing as a hobby.
And somehow I feel like there is a miracle, that the one singing course I picked just happened to start doing vocal analysis of my absolute favorite singer of all time.

At 14:51 the cheapest way of producing that kind of thing is simply chopping up the vocal then pitch shifting each of them. A fun way if you are more into Glitch stuff, use FL Studio's "Gross Beat", fun fact it was used by Daft Punk on the track "Derezzed" for Tron Legacy. But no yeah, you could also just automation lane a pitch shift so that you get a smooth transition between each of the notes. See, that's one of the fun things of Music Production, there's like a thousand ways to do incredibly simple concepts, and every option is legitimate because of how it'll affect the sound.

This song is so fun to sing along to. One thing I love is that, since she kind of has a freestyle way of connecting them together, it actually flows without much strain and kind of swaps at points that make sense
I like the way you talk about pointing your voice, I kinda feel it like I’m playing an instrument with my breath up and through an arcing *something* with elasticity that I can point and make more/less arched (like, am I shooting a free throw, or shooting an arrow, god I’m bad at analogies)

Odo is good but Im kinda amazed all the onepiece Red tracks havnt some up yet- i'd say they are all her best stuff imo - bar a few that youve now done. Normally Backlight, tot musica, where the wind blows, or any of the others are suggested before her earlier stuff. I'm super looking forward to you doing them too!
p.s as for thinking about it more like her voice acting different characters lol- check out viva happy at some point- it was like a april fools video where she pretended to be introducing a new idol band she was gonna back- but its actually ALL her singing these 4 different band members with distinct voices :) Its not up amongst her best in terms of being catchy or obviously impressive - but it does perfectly illustrate your point :)

Another fun review of Ado from you! Odo and its remix is one of my favorites :) I do suggest fleeting lullaby and Tot Musica from Red next, but leaning towards hearing you review Fleeting Lullaby first- just because theres a bit more "stuff" she does in the song that I would love to see you break down!

Ado‘s always developing and improving in a surprising speed so please check out her new ones rather than going back many years although they're all great !
I need your analysis on her latest release "Chocolat Cadabra". V
ery different character from the ones you've done. So cute, lovely but powerful and she's doing a lot of chorus, probably tripple layer, creating girlish and magical atmosphere. So many different voices but they're all hers and I don't know how that is possible. I'd love you to analyze if they are all Ados natural voice or if some are mechanically coordinated.
I'm just curious cause its so magically wonderful and comfortable.
It's lately my favourite song. Very catchy chocolate ad song, melty sweet, bitter, soft, sexy, powerful, all kinds of Ado voice assort!
BTW thank you for putting Tot Musica the next! It's mind blowing I promise!

You need to review Chocolate Cadabra. It's even more insane than Godish and Odo rolled into one.
