Drum Island being docked points for having a bad villain but Baratie always being at the top of people's lists despite nobody ever mentioning Don Krieg or even remembering him is hilarious to me
The villain was meh, but the way luffy fought the villain and the story surrounding it was amazing. Like there was one moment where luffy got hit multiple times and he admitted that he was intentionally getting hit to wear out the weapon. I felt the villain contrasted well in baratie, but warpol was just trash and awkwardly placed in the narrative against luffy as someone who just needed to be beat up and was always going to be beat up easily by luffy. Don krieg came from the at the time innocuous grand line and so it was a mystery as to if luffy would pull it off while the stakes were high b/c if he failed they’d die and it truly situate them as a lackluster pirate group incapable of surviving in the grand line. Where as if luffy got beat by warpol we’d all just stop watching the series because it’s garbage.
I understand that egghead isn't done, but in my opinion we already have enough information about world-building and connection to the one piece world that we were blinded by from the 12 years of build-up to wano
While watching enies lobby I realised They broke in: Declared war on the government: Defeated cp9: Rescued Robin: And (unintentionally) nuked the island IN A DAY

We see whitebeard, doflamingo, kuma and blackbeard for the first time and we learn more about how warlords treat the world government. Speaking of governments, we see THE FOUR GOROSEI FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER
When I watched Alabasta I did get kinda bored of the countless episodes of them traveling the desert it was a good arc but a few of the episodes could’ve been condensed in my opinion
I agree. The first 10 episodes were rather forgettable, but I understand why they were put there. It really gets good when baroque works starts discussing the final steps of their plan
Thriller Bark is my favorite arc because it perfectly encapsulates my favorite parts of One Piece. Great backstory, great humor, intimidating villains, and a great concept for an island
17:15 - Thriller Bark is painfully underrated, it's so creative and introduces my 3rd fave Straw Hat in Brook, who easily has the most painful backstory in all of One Piece. i LOVE the Halloween aesthetic and "Nothing Happened" is the Cherry atop the Thriller Bark sundae.
I’m in the same boat. It was the first time the crew had to split up to accomplish their goal and in Dressrosa they had to rely on a bunch of others to help who eventually become the straw hat fleet. It was really cool seeing them find others to work with upon finding a common goal and have lasting relationships afterwards. Not to mention how the world changes in response to taking down Doflamingo. Easy S tier arc imo
there is just too many characters that dont amount to nothing both in doffy´s family and the pirates, its mainly an issue of the anime but it feels like too much time is dedicated to some characters. the core of the story (toys, kyros, doffy, fujitora, sabo, etc) is still great but there is just too much mediocre stuff cluttering it up

Dressrosa might be the arc with the biggest differential between Manga and Anime. In the Manga it's top tier, in the Anime it was so insanely drawn out, with lots of way too long unsubstantial filler scenes and decent at best animation.

and the fact that zoro first time asks for someone's help and out of all people he asks sanji builds up the whole wings of the pirate king point when they wins the round without talking to each other after that
Personally the beginning ruined the entire arc for me, after Luffy agreed to play a game after watching Shelly get shot. The fact that they made half of the arc filler didn't help either. I didn't completely hate it though, as there were some amazing scenes like the Zoro and Sanji tag team against the giants.

If Wapol were a bit more developed, this arc would have been S Tier Plus. I hope the Live Action improves Wapol like how they improved Kuro imo
What would manga Skypiea rank for you? I know the anime adaptation leaves much to be desired... but in the manga it is an easy S tier for me because of Noland/Calgara backstory and the Luffy Enel fight. More specifically, how close the Luffy/Enel fight was. I don't think a lot of people remember that Luffy and co. were incredibly close to dying during that arc, closer than I think they came in the majority of One Piece arcs.
where did you get all the high quality anime scenes? was it shown in the original series? bc i remember last time I watch Syrup village, the anime quality was kinda 90s ish, not as colorful as this one
27:30 - people really compare Sanji leaving to Usopp turning on the crew?? if anything it's more like Robin's sacrifice at Water 7, he doesnt want to drag the family he loves into the problems with the family he hates, nor does he want to be a burden, so much like Nami he resorts to fighting his problems on his own, which of course is impossible, but he didnt think it was. meanwhile Long Nose turned on the crew, believing that he was the only one who cared about Merry and that they were going to turn on him soon, which was bullshit to say the least. and THEN rather than apologize to Luffy and the gang, he schemed for days to try to worm his way back into the fold, rather than admit that he was wrong. many have forgiven Usopp, but to this day, i have not, nor will i ever... he is the weakest and least developed Straw Hat of them all, and nothing short of him sacrificing himself for a crewmate (or Luffy) will redeem him in my eyes. anyways, out of all the Villains in One Piece, i felt the most for Big Mom aka Charlotte Linlin, she really feels like her and Luffy were very alike, only where Luffy had his brothers and friends, ultimately Linlin lost it all and nothing to hold onto besides her adopted dream, so she became a bad egg, much like Luffy could've been, had their fates been switched.
The Syrup Village arc has consistently symbolic contrasts with strong articulation and depiction. If you aren't focused really hard, you'll miss a lot. It's an arc for the sniper member, so it's an obvious hindsight that the entire arc is about spotting critical meanings.
The funny part about long ring long land is that while a lot of people think its filler the g8 arc if ur watching a the anime is so good a lot of anime only watchers think its cannon until being told otherwise
Marineford has to be the best arc it may be “overrated” but it was perfect we got to see many pirates and powerful marines just fight and at the end ut hits hard probably one of the only arcs I cried in it was amazing
Water 7, including enies lobby, is the best arc in one piece. There are so many arcs that are a close second place, but this one for me still has the most memorable moments out of any arc.
25:45 - for me, Dressrosa is a B... the Story i liked a lot, the Pacing was GOD awful and felt like it was padded to the extreme. i liked that Luffy gained an army as well as reuniting with his other brother, whom we thought died in Luffy's childhood. but i hated Doflamingo, and not in a way that you're supposed to hate a villain. first of all he is a slimy, no-good, rotten-to-the-core, Celestial Dragon. secondly, they try to make him out like he is a sympathetic villain and on that note i feel Oda failed to convince me, much like he tries to make Usopp a likeable yet relatable character. Senor Pink was the only Villain i liked in this arc.
10:15 - technically Crocodile almost killed Luffy thrice; first was Impalement, then Dehydration, finally Poison, Robin just happened to have the antidote on standby.
They are ovas. I think it’s called episode of east blue. It’s like a movie of the whole east blue saga with better animation. Look it up. There’s also one for ennies lobby called episode of merry
END - couldnt agree more with the take on Wano, even before Wano began, Oda was building and building and BUILDING the arc up, and the building only kept building as the arc went onward, culminating in a climax that was ultimately satisfying and made me eager to see what all was gonna transpire from here, Final Saga here we come! to Laughtale! Elbaf! and to the End of the World! ...or the beginning of a new one.
The syrup village hate from One Piece fans is so unwarranted 💀 Syrup Village wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad at all and felt better than Orange Town at the very least. I’ve always enjoyed the arc just fine, but I find a lot of people who dislike it were people who didn’t like Usopp when he was first introduced. Personally, I think Syrup Village is actually genuinely good writing wise and I’ve always liked Kuro as a villain; plus, I’ve always been a fan of Usopp. It’s at the very least a C-tier worthy arc 🤷🏾♂️
Where did he find that absolute amazing animation, the reason I didn’t rlly like the beginning is bc of the animation. I’d enjoy a rewatch if it looked like this

anyways, out of all the Villains in One Piece, i felt the most for Big Mom aka Charlotte Linlin, she really feels like her and Luffy were very alike, only where Luffy had his brothers and friends, ultimately Linlin lost it all and nothing to hold onto besides her adopted dream, so she became a bad egg, much like Luffy could've been, had their fates been switched.
Long Ring arc was actually funnier and more interesting than Punk Hazard. Drum Island is way better than Jay and Baratie arcs.
The Syrup Village arc has consistently symbolic contrasts with strong articulation and depiction. If you aren't focused really hard, you'll miss a lot. It's an arc for the sniper member, so it's an obvious hindsight that the entire arc is about spotting critical meanings.
Bro you Say that drumm Island Is b for wapoo but you put arlong park in s , you don t' froget the long flashbacks
Great Tier List!
The funny part about long ring long land is that while a lot of people think its filler the g8 arc if ur watching a the anime is so good a lot of anime only watchers think its cannon until being told otherwise
15:21 he didnt just learn diable jambe he just now used it though
I’ll come back to this video when I’m finished the whole cake island arc
people saying thriller bark is underrated don't actually remember watching thriller bark
Marineford has to be the best arc it may be “overrated” but it was perfect we got to see many pirates and powerful marines just fight and at the end ut hits hard probably one of the only arcs I cried in it was amazing
"Little garder is never talked again"
Latest chapters: you sure about that?
Water 7, including enies lobby, is the best arc in one piece. There are so many arcs that are a close second place, but this one for me still has the most memorable moments out of any arc.
0:48 look at the wanted poster
Where did this high definition graphics of one piece come from to me that would be awesome to rewatch it in
25:45 - for me, Dressrosa is a B... the Story i liked a lot, the Pacing was GOD awful and felt like it was padded to the extreme. i liked that Luffy gained an army as well as reuniting with his other brother, whom we thought died in Luffy's childhood. but i hated Doflamingo, and not in a way that you're supposed to hate a villain. first of all he is a slimy, no-good, rotten-to-the-core, Celestial Dragon. secondly, they try to make him out like he is a sympathetic villain and on that note i feel Oda failed to convince me, much like he tries to make Usopp a likeable yet relatable character. Senor Pink was the only Villain i liked in this arc.
10:15 - technically Crocodile almost killed Luffy thrice; first was Impalement, then Dehydration, finally Poison, Robin just happened to have the antidote on standby.
How did you find the east blue episodes in high quality
I think from flashbacks of later episodes
They are ovas. I think it’s called episode of east blue. It’s like a movie of the whole east blue saga with better animation. Look it up. There’s also one for ennies lobby called episode of merry
The real S to me:
1-Arabasta
2-Water 7
3-Skypiea
The big three and what made one piece the best story ever told
do one with egghead next
It’s at the very least a
C-tier worthy arc 🤷🏾♂️
Where did he find that absolute amazing animation, the reason I didn’t rlly like the beginning is bc of the animation. I’d enjoy a rewatch if it looked like this
Where he gets these scenes from they are much better than the anime original scenes (i'm talking about the first arcs like arlong park or loguetown)
im not crying you're crying 😭😭
THE LEGEND BON CLAY!!
surprised nobody is talking about punk hazard being in c tier its at least high b
Insane reverse mountain slander. It was short, sweet and kept me on my toes. What in the hell made u even think about putting it in d tier
Had to stop after impel down but great video.
3:56 he didnt eat he sacrificed it to save sanji when he was drowning else hed have no legs/ only wooden legs
No he ate it in the manga, since the manga is more canon than the anime it’s canon he ate it
Zoro at thriller bark: I'm okay-y
Long Ring Long Land Arc also has the scene of Doflamingo on Jaya and him teasing the "new age"
egghead makes the events of sabaody so much better
Hot take but Skypiea was an S tier arc for me. Hilraious, has plenty of action if u just skip a few episodes, poetic, and also Wyper is an absolute badass.
didnt zeff cut off his leg with an anchor when he got stuck under the sea while saving sanji...
He ate it
You forgot ussops amazing long ranged snipe in dress Rosa showing off his skill and dedication to luffy
Has anyone noticed that some of the scenes are from the remake- ‘THE one piece’?
W Kerning City Music during Loguetown section
