- We are starting from the top and will be working our way down the mountain before we hit winter. This change will be something we will work on in the next 3 weeks. Along with many other construction projects in the works.
I love how the chickens follow your work flow, finding food. Awesome video.
Suggestion: make a rake attachment for the backhoe. It would also be beneficial for seeding grass.
I have thought about that one many times and several versions. Definitely something I want to build for myself. Raking the leftover smaller branches/sticks is very time consuming and just bunch up with a blade or harrow. Keep an eye out for that project to come, there’s a good chance I may do it this season.
Those chickens can always cause a person a great deal of trouble. If they weren’t so darn good to eat and their eggs didn’t taste wonderful and not to mention how well they fit in with most recipes. I hear you, but it looks open, should be more conducive to getting them to stay out of the tree.😊
Watching those chickens run around on time lapse is hysterical.
I mean they’re not doing anything different, they’re just doing it faster 😂
You do make that look EASY
As always Marc, you always seem to make the areas you work on look TIDIER than when you started. Good job
I’m always amazed how with the proper tools and talent an area can be cleared out so quickly. Great work!
Your a wizard on that machine Marc ! , fantastic work it's looking great , cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Good afternoon Mark
❤great progress🙏🙂
Congrats on finishing planting gardening project!....GOOD JOB!=====>>>> snows coming......just sayin.
I’ve been watching your Chanel for some time now and have enjoyed your videos. Love how you’re slowly building up that treasure you live in.
You have a bunch of lucky chickens. Enjoyed watching as always. Thanks for sharing your endeavors, you are doing an awesome job of taming the mountainside. I’ve enjoyed watching the ranch grow and it has been a wonderful experience. Congratulations on all your accomplishments and I’m happy to have been able to take part in it all as it has came together into the awesome Mountain Maple Ranch. PS. Watching and waiting for more action! 😀👍❤️🚂💨💨💨💨💨🚙
Sir Mark you are one heck of an operator on that that little high hoe very well done sir ,It's great when a plan comes together.
Good posting, I would when I retire love to keep Chickens. I looked after them when I was a kid living in Cornwall. Thanks again....
On your property where near level land is at a premium, can't be wasted growing junk trees !!
I really like you music 🎼 Pickens 👍
👍👍👍👍👍👌Great planning and use of equipment!!!
😊🙏👍❤️
I enjoy watching your excavator work. You're really good at moving and shaping those steep slopes. Are y'all still going to put a shelter over the water tanks?
Yes probably not this year but in the next few for sure
😊
👍
Ahead logterm planning seems to be working out Marc, thinking about snow roof fall is all part of your mind set .. 👍
Thanks as always for sharing. atvb t ..👋
No one else could develop this property. Your skill, equipment, and work ethic are the requirements.
Thank you
Have you considered wind turbines for power source?
Seems to blow alot at your home.
We have monitored our wind speeds in front of the shop for the past 2 years and we don’t usually see wind speeds above 8MPH on avg. Occasionally we have weather that brings 20-30 MPH winds. Almost all of the wind turbine research I’ve done indicates the need for winds above 20 to be efficient. at our avg speed, most of the turbines would only be in the 5-15% efficiency range meaning 2000W turbine making 100-300W. Just not worth the effort for us right now.
@@MountainMapleRanch you have done your research!
Thanks for replying.
Looking great!!
lol you have the chickens trained to the heavy equipment..free grubs
Where do you get the cool bandanas? David in Texas
Good day !!! 🌹🌹🌹
next question: why do you bother keeping cattle?
We enjoy eating beef
Thanks 👍
🖐😎👍
I guess you can shape in the next video
Wow awesome job . Do yous not have the gardean dogs anymore ? .
No they were rehomed over a year. They started to kill chickens, turkeys and baby goats. Not Aspen but Chloe has that Akita and her and Aspen got into the animals pretty bad during the night.
are you not afraid for erosion with so mutch groundwork???
No sir
long winded hay when are going to fix and use your dozer
The dozer will get looked over in the winter. It will be a 30 or more day repair and I don’t have that time. Next year when I cut in new roads to access the rest of my property I do want to have it fixed.
I hope this does not upset you, I like to see more action and less talking.
@jamesboris1233 thank you. I too would like to get to the action faster
