    Thanks for this. I have been using AP on iPad Pro for some time but had to learn by trial and error - mostly error. Yours is the first clean and simple tutorial I have found.

      @@StevenDempseyArtist amazing video +1 !! Can i ask where you mention the discard and develop options, is there a way to hide them or ask #afinity photo if there is a way to undo this, for example i am still learning the app .. if i have done hours of work and ‘’by mistake ‘ hit the discard button does that mean all is a total loss ?? Best of wishes kind regards ! Be safe

    A really useful tutorial. I'm relatively new to affinity on iPad and your presentation store is a no-nonsense approach that I like. Please continue the good work.

    Hi sir. I try to edit photos to post on instagram and whenever I set resolution to 1080x1360 my image always crop. How can I get full size image still be 1080x1350?

    I have affinity on my MBPro and now on iPad Pro. I keep my photos on an external SSD
    I’d like to plug this in either and work on the same image. I guess this is ‘Save’ and will save with changes to ext drive?

    • @StevenDempseyArtist
      @StevenDempseyArtist  3 года назад

      When using the iPad version, you can open the image, make your adjustments and then go to the document menu, choose “save as” and navigate to your drive. You will need to choose that same option each time you want to update that file. This is because even though you choose “save as”, as soon as you make additional changes, they will not update your external file, it will continue to update a local version of the file within the app’s sandbox (which is not accessible as a separate file). You will also need to remember to open that same external file the next time you want to work on the image on your iPad. Let me know if that makes sense. It’s a little convoluted.

    What did you mean at 06:28 in the video regarding the in paint tool and photo something?

    • @jeffrey891
      @jeffrey891 3 года назад

      I believe he was was saying he prefers to use the inpainting brush tool which is in the photo persona of Affinity Photo as opposed to the blemish removal tool in the develop persona because it is much quicker to use. The inpainting brush tool and blemish removal tool are similar in what they do so, for his purposes, he waits until after he’s done with the develop persona to make the necessary adjustments with the inpainting brush tool in the photo persona. I hope that helps!

      Thank you. I don’t believe you can batch process on the iPad. A limitation of the OS I believe.
