Billy Chong ("Crystal Fist") plays Li, a Chinese immigrant, who comes to an Old West town looking for his uncle and gets more than he bargained for when he runs into a group of racists who has killed Tommy's (Carl Scott) family. With the help of an old martial arts expert (Leung Siu Sung), Tommy learns Kung Fu just in time for him and Li to take on the gang and avenge his family. Li fights American Indians, Japanese Samurai, and countless others in this non-stop throw-down as the Old West meets the Far East.
Carl Scott and Billy chong are two of the best that a lot don't know of.

I watched this movie on a cable channel in NY. It was called UPTOWN, it would come on at 8:00 every week. It specialized in Kung Fu, Horror and Black Exploitation films. Fond memories 😊

Damn, I love this flick! Two great martial artists in the same movie
and one of them was just a kid when he made it. They worked together again but it didn't come close to the quality of the choreography in this one which was released in America originally under the title A HARD WAY TO DIE.
"Billy Chong" was a stage name. He's Indonesian and has an extremely long real name Americans could never cope with.
Look fo Carl Scott's 2 forms. The kid was sensational.

I'll put the choreography of this movie up against any martial arts movie today, the fight scenes are totally believable, great fucking movie and I always love when they had Black and White characters, it made a lot more drama and interesting characters.

Got to love the western scenes and kung fu mix, I hope all the young ppl know that the Chinese ppl built American railroads out west. Also have their blood sweat and tears in the building of the US and shouldnt be forgotten

agreed, but lets also remember the often forgotten and even purposely hidden work of African Americans on the rails. African Americans did much of the prep work for building the railroad like blasting tunnels, building buildings and stations, and grading lines on top of the type of work the Chinese and Irish did. African Americans also worked many positions on trains and outside which were a big help in keeping the trains moving. No one group built the railroads out west and no groups contribution should be forgotten.

Just think about if Carl Scott had kept making movies! Kid was awesome already! He probably still studies, but he's good enough to do movies even now I bet! I wish he'd do another one. He's a good deal younger than Chuck Norris who's still a formidable man well into his 70s! It could definitely be done! Carl, I met you back in the 90s. I'm Carvis Wildman Baldwins and Thomas Jones, Sam Jones and Ernest Jones nephew. You dont remember me. You also may have cousins here in Lansing Mich that I grew up with. Walter and Jackie Scott. Jackie said he had a Great Martial Art cousin in Cali. Could be you. I think you're fantastic and you treated me well, the couple of times I met you. I wasn't aware of your skill level until my cousins Gloria Jones and Meso told me about you. Impressive skills Bro!!! Billy Chong was excellent in this one as well! Had to mention him! Killer Martial Artist no doubt! Have to find out what he's up to now as well!

@@WuTangCollectionDope I'm in Michigan. He's in Los Angeles. He's a very low key sort of guy. I saw a video of him instructing. So at least he's still involved in the Martial Arts! I can ask my Uncle. They used to be close, but I dont think Carl is interested in movies too much. Dont want too speak for him though. It's not my place. But I can try
