Thank you for posting in great widescreen quality. I saw this movie at my grandfather's house with my cousins as a 7 year old. Now I'm 45. Enjoying reliving childhood memories. Thank you!!!
I literally owned this movie i watched it so many times and just watched it again after 25 years and its still awesome they actually let a real monkey fight a real snake ! there is just so much to this movie thats great
Just see how much effort they put to jump here and there, do somersault etc.... Very risky. Actually depicting a fight without injuring the opponent is much tougher than fighting (& injuring) the opponent itself. With love from Tamil Nadu in South India.
HOLY COW DO I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! I instantly fell in love when I saw this movie and purchased the VHS copy I had just rented. I would pay real money to get a remastered version of it.
I can watch this movie another million times.. What a master piece of art. Describes hard work respect friendship and revenge. No naked girls kissing, pure passion and hard work. A lesson to those who want to achieve their goals through short cuts. It's a movie but still very close to reality. Masters can be beaten, friends may die but hard work can achieve impossible.... I watched this movie as a kid now that I am getting old, I still watch it when everything goes against me. This movie helps to boost my spirit....
Thanks for upload.i don't know how many times I saw this movie but still it gives me goose bumps.Still remember my school days when I was watching this movie many times.
This is one of my all time favourites.... "Hmm... right first time.... today you're gonna die" ..... "it's obvious, you're conceited... what's more you're crazy...."
Absolutely spot on.SNAKE IN THE MONKEY’S SHADOW was always a favourite with the late night Kung fu movie crowd. While it’s not the classic that Jackie Chan’s DRUNKEN MASTER became, I think it comes pretty close(I saw it in 1981 at the CLASSIC CINEMA in Nottingham and then bought it on INTER OCEAN VIDEOS in 1982.Wish I’d kept it, but sadly sold my Kung fu video collection because I needed the money😿).And that final fight between John Chang and Snake fighters, Wilson Tong and Charlie Chen( who fights Roger Moore’s James Bond in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN) is a classic.
John Chang, Wilson Tong and Charlie Chan have made history of kung fu from this film and I enjoyed watching every minute of this! Thanks Wu Tang Collection 👍🏿👌🏿👏🏿🐍🐒🥴⛩️☯️🫸🏿🤛🏿🙏🏿
When I was young I remember watching this for the first time. I fell in love with this movie. I occasionally pop in the VHS. Yes I said VHS to watch this classic. BTW there was a lot left out in this video. Anyway this is the best kung Fu movie to me. Love the final fight. The imitation of the snake, monkey and drunken style were all on point.
I basically grew up on this movie. Watched it countless times when I was a child . Such a pleasure to refresh my memory. Absolutely amazing movie. One of the best
One of my best and best favorite movie. I used to copy monkey style. I still love it. My father use to bring the disk 💿. Lots of memories ❤️ And yes m quite emotional. And I also share this video to my father ❤️
A CLASSIC!!! For me, the best part of the movie was the final fight when he watched a monkey kill a snake and copied the techniques to use against the two snake fighters...AWESOME!!!
One of the best snake fist movies ever. Johnny Chan rocks. Loved him in writing kung fu fighting with Bolo Yeung. And in all Shaw Bros movies he Starred in . Also in that movie Blood Sport with Van dam. Remembers he was in Dragon the Bruce Lee Story. He was guy that kick Jason Scott Lee in the back.
TEAM KIM: Now I don't see nothing wrong with what you are wearing but I also believe that Oshane is over protective of you & wouldn't want any other man to interfering with you. What a Banger. I really Love this Video. (PRANK)
I just watched this movie a week or 2 ago under a different title, on a not so wide screen. Wow what a difference!!! If I didn't know any better, apart from a couple of scenes which still had that "old school" quality. I would've thought this movie was a recent release, NOT 40 years old!!! I'm looking forward to seeing other classics being Remastered in WIDESCREEN. Great upload. Well done. Keep it coming.👍
@@afflulifestyle1784 Interesting, so I guess they won't be remastering more movies any time soon. To be honest the majority of content and channels on youtube and social media infringe copyright laws. Thanks for the feedback.
I love these Snake/Shadow movies be because the protagonist always wins in the end by combining two different styles. In this movie John Cheung combines the Drunken Style with the Monkey Style. In *_Snake In The Eagle's Shadow_* Jackie Chan combines the Snake Fist Style with the Cat's Claw.
I enjoyed watching this movie thank you so much i used to watch when i was child atill now still watching it cool 😎 from Australia 2021 brother 🙌 respect
Fire! 🔥 Never saw this one till now! His learned technique at the end was amazing! On my re-watch list, for sure! Story was awesome! These are the types of Kung-fu movies that made me fall in love with this era of movies! Besides thinking they were real life super heroes! ❤❤❤❤ I'll say again, I love these movies!
i remember boxing day of 2003 . i was hooked on kung fu flicks & SNES Beat em ups N fighters 😂my lil 10 year old ass going to walmart with my rents, sister and aunt and going ham with Christmas money i got On VHS Fu Flickz . i got this one out of like 10 movies , spent like $ 22 dollars. this has been one of my favourite movies ever since. ❤
The last fight is Drunken Monkey. Although not in dialogue, He learns drunken style from his master and monkey style from his friend and mixes both of them to handle two snakes. Drunken monkey is a deadly combo style that is evolved. He learns kungfu fast and has an innate ability to go to the extent of what nature offers.
