He thought it was beautiful, but did struggle with the tropical heat and vowed, when ge got home and behan his life he would make sure to have very good air conditioning in his house! Lol. He always did.

I first came to Europe as part of the Erasmus Mundus study program 10 years ago. I had to move to 10 different cities in 3 different countries for a 3-year Masters program + the study of a foreign language other than English. As you can see, the difference in culture is immediately perceptible in the products sold in the supermarket. Even if the culture is not the same in every town in the same country. It wasn't easy, especially when you didn't know anyone. Fortunately, I've been able to make friends with my neighbor and the local people on each of my stay. At the end, i am so grateful for this wonderful experiences in my life that help me growth as a person. I still keep all my old addresses as a souvenir and keep in touch with the people I've met. Once and for all, every time I go to a part of the world, I can surely find my friends. Good luck for your new life in Okinawa 😇
2 years ago i was with my partner in Japan. One of our core memories is eating egg yolk onigiri on a bench at the park in front of the baseball field in Tokyo Edogawa-ku in the Morning. Simple yet such a lovely memory
If I remember correctly, loofah is called patola in Filipino, and it does taste good. We usually cook it in a soup with misua (a kind of noodle) and any choice of ground protein source (typically pork or beef).
Wow from Tokyo to Okinawa is a big step. Will you miss the big city? Did you grew up on the countryside or in a big city. I think the climate and food in Okinawa is a huge plus for your quality of life.

I agree that too much choice in life can often lead to stress and crippling indecision. Just aim for 61 out of 100 like you always do, and you will not get too overwhelmed or daunted at the tasks ahead.
