Hi Oliver, I'm a 59 year old woman in the States and I enjoy your videos; i've never been good at putting anything together and always pay someone else especially now that my husband passed away LOL. You did a good job. And you're terrific with the plants. Your videos are so nice and relaxing to watch. Years ago before my parents met, my father was a Marine stationed in Japan in the 1950s and fell in love with a beautiful Japanese girl; she became pregnant and he wanted to marry her and bring her to the US but her parents had already promised her to someone else; my father learned she had a boy but all I know is he was raised without any knowledge of his American father; my father died 2008 and I never did get the Japanese woman's name; every time I watch Japanese shows I always wonder "could that be my nephew to my half brother?" LOL Crazy I know. Just thought I'd share that with you. Thanks again for your lovely videos.
Hello Oliver, I have felt very identified with you. Years ago I had to assemble all the (IKEA) furniture in my house alone. It was very hard. I had to dismantle the old furniture and I don't have the strength of a man... I had a hard time for a few weeks... but I finished it successfully! I am surrounded by books and good views from my house. I don't ask for much more. I'm happy this way. Thanks for your video! Greetings from Spain (it's very hot in summer!)😊
When I’m working on something and it’s not working out well I usually take a break from it and get fresh eyes the next day…especially if I’m tired and hungry lol!

I particularly like the one of the trip you took to Okinawa for a couple of days. My grandma is Japanese, born and raised in Okinawa. Sadly she passed away last year and I never got to make the trip home with her before she left us. I recently bought a table (with 2 sides that fold down to save space) for the kitchen in my flat. It was quite difficult to put together, with lots of parts. It took me hours lol but i did it in the end & was quite proud that i did it myself. I too am a huge Big Bang Theory fan!!❤ Small plesaures for me are candles books, and walks through the park on my way to work🥰
