Sometimes think it is better for me to not have been born, but I remember that Jesus took on human flesh for the sake of showing us how to overcome suffering even when we are of the flesh. I also want to thank you for putting 1 John 2:15 and the last part of the Parable of the Prodigal Son. I have been an atheist for five years, and now I go to church trying to follow God's will.

Hold on there brother and don't worry about this world which will pass away, instead persue Jesus and cling onto his promises. Doesn't matter what happens in this world just know that your plan will never come close to gods so you trust him and he will give you everything truly needed. Even tho it might not be what you think it will be speak Jesus mighty name over your life and believe that he knows every tear you shed and has heard every prayer, his timing is perfect and all will be according to his will and his will is perfect. I’m a Christian. But sometimes I feel like it might be better if I didn’t exist. I feel like my family might be happier without me. Like I’d be better off dead and in heaven where I want to be instead of here on earth where everything is confusing and temptations are everywhere. This edit was beautiful. Christmas movies are my favorite and looking deeper into them it’s really easy to see the same message in them. Love, kindness, forgiveness, mercy. Attributes God has toward us and we should have toward others. And I guess attributes we should sometimes have toward ourselves too.
That's not true. :) If God was the one who created you, why would he create you without purpose. You are meant for greater either in the present or the future. God loves you and has made you for a reason. The hardest part is to find the reason. Not an easy task though.
Trust in the Lord. His timing is intentional and perfect. The things of this world will never fulfill you, so seek God with all your heart. This is something I struggle with as well, to search for fulfillment and meaning in God, not in the world.

I sometimes with that, after how many times I have committed this sin that weighs on my mind. but then sometimes, i remember that the Lord loves me, and I have to just try and make another day sinless.
To think we all have all acted like Ebneezer did, just letting the moment pass and not repenting at the moment, but letting and accepting our sin to happen. It lets us see our hardened stone hearts. Yet to know that even if we fail, just like the prodigal son, we can go back to a Father that wants to forgive us, help us and change us. That the sin we fall and live in after hardships and tribulations, may and will one day disappear. That gives me hope, not that that will happen, what really gives me hope is that Jesus said it and if he is the Way, the Truth and the Life, how true are those words? The truest truth. Then why would God create you if it wasn't for the purpose of loving you and glorifying Himself by turning sinners into people of his. To repent and turn to God every single time you sin, even if you do it again some time later, is to acknowldege that He is still victorious and that sin will not drown you. @TboneWTF I have had personal encounters with God now it's not like I physically see something there of course and when I pray it's not like I have a conversation with God. But seeing that there is Historial evidence outside of the Bibel of Jesus showing he really existed and nowing that plus mixed in with him saying he is God and the son of God to me makes sense. I now live a more Godley life thanks to the Christ before I did what I wanted only thought about myself partied did wrong things and generally was not the person I was raised to be. But when I found God when I prayed and my prayers were answer it assured me he is up there now I live my life the way the Christ would want me to I am happier and no longer depressed I was able to get past my lustful addiction and grow closer with my family. I didn't want to be a protestant as that's what I was raised as because it seemed like it was always a me me me thing what can God do for me? I realized it's not what can God do for me? it's what can I do for God? And ever since then I am more at peace than ever before closer with my family and genuinely for the 1st time ever actually happy thanks to God.

Many have taken the Christ out of his mass. We need to show how much we love him, as funny as it is I am reminded of the scene in full metal jacket where they sing happy birthday to Christ. Turn to god not just pretend to but actually do as I say. Go to a church beg for forgiveness and Get baptized. Continue to spread the word of Jesus and save others. I have sinned, god is all powerful but he forgives and he loves you.
There's not a single person on this earth that deserves God. Do not say you dont deserve to live, God created you and he does not make mistakes. We are all persons with many sins, acknowledge it before God, beg for forgivness and put your faith in Jesus Christ like the son from the parable. Do not give up brother, we all dont deserve God and we all sin but if you just confess and turn away from sin, God will forgive you. You were dead, but you'll live, you were lost, but you'll be found. Im praying for you!

Many have taken the Christ out of his mass. We need to show how much we love him, as funny as it is I am reminded of the scene in full metal jacket where they sing happy birthday to Christ. We throw extravagant parties for our own birthday but never for the birth of the son of god. Maybe we should all come together and tell him that we love him and that we wish him a happy birthday.

Honestly me having been sexually molested as a boy aint that bad not bevause im a male a man its because i realize that ill plunge into christs arm i want him to prove it to me and to say he loves me has more meaning than my father and mother saying it to me. 1: Do they glorify God?
2: Are they doing anything for Gods Kingdom?
3: To they openly proclaim Jesus is Lord?
If 1 only one of these is being done, they might be putting on a show, if 2 you can safely assume they are Christian, if all 3… They are Christian.

ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE BY FRANK CAPRA (an Italian from Southern Italy who emigrated to the States and I still wonder how he survived in Hollywood). The actor is Jimmy Stewart. He reminds me of my Grandfafher who was his contemporary (he had my mom when he was 51 after a lifetime of helping to raise his younger siblings). Find a way to watch it (and i don't often say that about Hollyweird).

If Judas had never been born then Christ couldn’t have died on the cross and he couldn’t take the hit for any sins that people commited

Judas may have fulfilled the prophecy, but it was still a choice Judas made in the end. “What if’s” are non-applicable to this prophecy. Jesus even after announcing one of his disciples will betray him, it still happened.
unfortunatly life isn't as easy as the words of the Bible makes it out to be. You read words of Christ and the father however you see the opposite on earth. Maybe I am out of touch here with the father but no one can truly be born again in a world full of suffering.
I believe that is the suffering that we go through is what molds us into being reborn, with Christ reminding us that there is a bliss with the pain and that we can be happy regardless agony
I love that we have the hope that this suffering will end.
But to know that Its not that our Lord just lets all this suffering happen, but that he suffers with us is what I love the most.
