    (Your comments on slothe reminded me) I realized years ago that an action of goodness is a relationship between both our intentions and our capacity to represent our intentions through action. Our actions are for the benefits of others (on a spiritual level) but our intentions are entirely for ourselves (on a spiritual level). This is because we can perform an action that appears good but the intention behind it is what builds up or eats away our soul within.

    Excellent as always. Also as always this channel has an eerie way of speaking of my innermost conflicts and providing what I need to go onwards.
    When I struggled with solipsism I see the enemy was leading me towards the sin of sloth towards despair...or lust if I wanted to jump ship. Not surprising, but the answer was as always Trust God and His Mercy. He can make light out of darkness and existence out of nothing.

    Thank you for this Father! A question I have, but we are not being uncharitable when it comes to the pope or church leaders allowing pagan ceremonies on God's Sacred Altar, such as "smudging" Amazonian cleansing on the Altar....and Pachemamas. Can you comment on that our obedience must be to God and not to bad bishops who dissent of the Catholic teachings and breaking God's Holy Commandments. God Bless.

    • @brotherandrew3393
      @brotherandrew3393 2 года назад

      @nicole flores You did not get the point. I was talking about enemies not evil people. And you are not allowed to judge someone as "evil" because you are not God. As a Catholic you have to obey your bishops regardless wether you think they are evil because of their office. Only if they demand from you something that is obviously evil you can refuse to obey. So tell me EXACTLY what kind of evil is demanded from you by a bishop and explain to me WHY you think it is evil.

    • @brotherandrew3393
      @brotherandrew3393 2 года назад

      @nicole flores Which clergy demands you to sin? Tell me a specific request of a specific clergy to sin. No one ever told anyone to WORSHIP pachamama. That is nonsense. This thing is used as a symbol and therefore has a symbolic meaning. Symbols can not be worshipped. I guess you don't understand this.

    • @yeahssir
      @yeahssir 2 года назад +1

      As far as I'm aware, we still ought to obey them by the authority that was given them, especially with them still being in communion with Rome. Jesus said of the Pharisees to obey them but not to do as they do, and I think that applies here with these Bishops and other clergy. Unless obviously opposing the Will of God (ie leading us to sin), we must respect and obey their authority, and even when we should not obey, we must do so in as respectful and humble a manner as is possible given the situation. Not to ignore their wrongs (these probably need to be acknowledged) but to respect the authority given to them.

      @@joeteson7195 Because by definition an anti - Catholic doctrine cannot come from the Church and be considered legitimate. We don't follow Protestant churches, why would we follow a Protestant "Pope" ?

    • @RealAugustusAutumn
      @RealAugustusAutumn 2 года назад +1

      @@joeteson7195 That was only one of the objections, but still yes. By your own logic, why even meet in a church? Why confess to a priest? Why have priests at all - if the Bible is good enough, all we need is preachers or "Spiritual Counselors", right? That's the slope to Protestantism when we ignore tradition i.e. the specific way things are done.

    • @elf-lordsfriarofthemeadowl2039
      @elf-lordsfriarofthemeadowl2039 2 года назад +2

      @@RealAugustusAutumn There is a very big difference with the little 't' traditions of the church which pertain to expressions and practices of the faithful during mass, and the captiol 'T' Traditions written and sanctified found within the Sacraments.
      The Novus Ordo has some different traditions, but not a different Tradition.
      Although it is more similar to some protestant worship services the NO Mass is still very Catholic. (I'm a former Protestant)

    • @RealAugustusAutumn
      @RealAugustusAutumn 2 года назад +2

      @@elf-lordsfriarofthemeadowl2039 It is not "very Catholic" if you're coming from an actual Catholic church or even the Orthodox. They changed the liturgy to be reflective of Protestant theology, and democratized the doctrines to encourage cooperation among the denominations. That is not a good thing. By lowering one's standards to attract the heretical masses, they've become heretics themselves. There is no reverence in the NO mass. Attendees don't even believe in the real presence, and how could they? When laypeople are allowed to touch the body of christ, when churches don't even have a tabernacle, when the priest faces the congregation like a Preacher, instead of the altar like a leader. Everything is reflective of a deep sickness.
