Thank you so much Luke! I've been studying your lessons every day. They give me something to look forward to in these crazy times. I'm gonna be so much more versatile by the time the world goes back to normal!! We're all really loving that someone as amazingly talented as you will take the time to share things like this with your fans.🤘 another reason your my favorite drummer bro
These last few lessons have been awesome! Always wanted you to do something like this and I've got plenty of time to practice with all the chaos going on right now. I'm sure I speak on behalf of many drummers when I say I look forward to seeing more content like this!!
Maaan, these lessons make me appreciate your talent in a whole new way after all these years. When i first watched you, i thought you were the best ever. But i guess i got use to hearing your style, so this is very refreshing. Makes me remember why your luke holland. Keep em coming. This is so much information for me to apply compared to trying to analyze a cover so i can play it too.
Luke Holland revealing his secrets and techniques... it's quite like Harry Houdini revealing his tricks. A legend, beeing generous enough to share such talent and hard work, gives now the opportunity to this world to increase his drumming level in an exponential manner.
One thing I love about drums more than other instruments is that you can just come up with this, enjoy it forever, and never have to put it in a song. If I write a cool guitar riff, I'm INSTANTLY thinking about how it would fit in a song, and it gets frustrating if nothing else comes to mind, and then it goes on the back burner and gets forgotten. With drums, I could play cool grooves on a loop forever and never get tired of just listening to it, even if I can't come up with any music to go over the top of it.
Im the opposite..lol. I HATE not doing anything with great feeling grooves, but most of my guitar riffs, i never seem to do anything with at all..lol. Then again I'm a left handed drummer, so I definitely do think backwards.🤘😊
These videos are great! Thanks and keep them coming! After practicing some of your lessons I've seen the most improvement in myself compared to a lot of other videos. Super valuable pieces of gold! Thanks again!
I love and hate drummers like you. You are so god dam amazing and makes me wanna walk away from my set. (But I won't) I'll never be on your level. The passion you play with is beyond epic and I can't get enough! Thanks for the lesson, tough but a lot of fun.
I really enjoy the educational videos. When I was younger, I only watched drum covers but over the least few years, I’ve really just watched and paid attention to lessons. Anyway... I’ve been really diggin’ the instructional videos! Thanks!
I love these style of videos, really informative and well done👌🏼. Your honestly one of my favourite drummers, keep up the good work bro❤️. Your killing it🔥
I love your videos man. I used to play drums and sadly can no longer since I have nowhere to put the kit. Watching you feels a void within me. I miss it so much.
Hey Luke! 🙋 Good morning from Malaysia 🙌 take a good care and be safe from Corona Virus. Btw, very good drum lessons. Keep up the good work Luke 👍 am goin to sleep 😪 daa
Dear god i wish you did more educational stuff. The only reason i watched 180 drums was because you were there! I'd totally pay for your lessons every day of the week man!
Love that lesson. Love animals as leaders. Hey is that a second hi-hat your hitting with your right hand? Can't see it. Thanks Oops! Guess I should watch the entire video first. Lol
Hi Luke I have a one question about PARADIDDLE-DIDDLE. Do you always play it as 16th notes rather than 16th notes triplets? I mean that in this rudiment we have 6 notes so I am messed up with it.. please pray tell it to me. Greetings !!
I think there is a little Mistake in your Notation. On beat 3 in the Second bar, i think there should be a stack hit, instead of a hi hat, at least i think that's what you're playing. Great Video🔥

I am very interested to understand how you are triggering the clappy sample with just the open hi-hats. whats going on there?
@@aaronjames7266 absolutely not .
If you don't play the hi-hat with your left hand underneath your right hand...then what are you even doing?! ;) :D
Damn those DW's are pretty
