Cool to hear it in a format where the focus is on the riffs and drum chops again (though Spencer really completes the song). that is a paradiddlediddle, you can find this used in a fill in 'Play The Victim' by The Word Alive. once you learn that this fill at 3:52 becomes a lot more clear
So paradiddlediddle number 1: RLRRLL - the first right is on the ride cymbal followed by ghost notes on the snare Paradiddlediddle number 2: the first right is an ACCENT on the snare, the rest of the notes are played on the hi-hat. Paradiddlediddle number 3: the first right is an ACCENT on the rack tom with the rest of the notes being ghosted on the snare. The last few notes of the fill are accented single strokes (RLRLKKRLRLKKRLKKK) SO - the whole fill (the leading right of the paradiddlediddle is played on a different drum each time: Ride cymbal, Snare and finally the rack tom) is: RlrrllRlrrllRlrrllRLRLKKRLRLKKRLKKK Hope this helped!

Maybe he was just stating its a traditional finish cymbal but he made it sound like there are other finishes to this crash. But enough with the bs nitpicking while he talks...love Jason and Luke's material together. The whole album is straight rippin all day long.
