This is a great soft rock band from Australia. They had a lot of great hits especially in the 70's-80's such as "Happy Anniversary", "Lady", "Reminiscing", "Cool Change", "It's A Long Way There", "Take It Easy On Me" etc.
LRB one of the most underrated bands of all time. Their harmonies where perfect and their music was first class! The Eagles said they where there one of their favourite bands. In fact two of the Eagles have played with LRB!
Oh guys, thanks so much for the trip down memory lane ❤ LRB was very much part of my teen years. Their harmonising was second to none. LRB produced so many great songs. I hope you react to another one of their amazing hits.
This band is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SMOOOOOOOOOTH!!! I LOVED their song: COOL CHANGE - I think ya'll would like it, TOO!! SUCH a GREAT BAND!!! GREAT REACTION, YOU-GUYS!!
I don't think it was ever intended to be insulting someone, but this was the '70's and people just said stuff, so they're saying, that someone might be called this by people, but that they shouldn't listen to what others say, keep trying and you'll find your person, believe in yourself and trust that the right person will see you for you, and love you for it. ❤
Little River Band is a great 70's soft rock group, they were played all over the radio throughout mid 70's to early 80's.Great band to check out, nice cataloge.Great reaction also!
This is one of those songs where the musical setting changes the meaning of the lyrics. You read the lyrics and think, "Oh, that sucks. Leave the poor guy alone." But when you _hear_ it, you realize the whole thing is _defiant_ . It's rooting for the guy. It's celebrating his unwillingness to quit.
Ty both for reaction! Live, fun! When I was around 9 or 10 years old, had a little record player and a rack of my Mother's old 45's. I bought one at the record store to add for myself! Hrmph..😊😊 It was the single "Lady" by these gentlemen, with "Cool Change" on Side B. Their harmonies are so good, and "Lady" makes me even more emotional now that I can understand the reason why I was feeling some sort of young boy poetic longing then 😊.
AWESOME SMILES, GREAT BAND LOTS OF GOOD SONGS. IF YOU LIKE THEM UR GONNA LOVE THE DOOBIE BROTHERS, FIRST SONG, FIRST ALBUM…. LISTEN TO THE MUSIC, TOULOUSE STREET … 1972 😃 ROCK ON 👊🖖
I would love to see your reaction to Cool Change,It's a long way there or Reminiscing I really believe you would enjoy them This band made Australia proud.
I think there's only one of the original members still living. At least that's the word that was going around like 7 or 8 years ago, when they played in Reno, NV. They were a great band at one time though.
I enjoyed this band a lot in the late ‘70s and played one of their records nearly all the way through, but I had no idea they were from Australia! They certainly don’t sound Australian, lol.
You should check out "Happy Anniversary" by Little River Band. It is directed toward his ex-wife. The song has great harmonies like this one and one of the funkiest bass parts you'll ever hear.
Such a fine band. Love how so many followed Crosby, Stills, and Nash by using harmony to take the melody while the rhythm section then takes off! The lead singer is kinda sexy, eh? Time to get back to Genesis. So much great MUSIC to discover. Lots of love behind the Goth front.
My first concert ever was Little River Band. I was 5 or 6. My parents were big fans lol I've loved them my whole life! Cool Change is a good one from them.
Hey my Friends! Hsy you guys havent done The Warning in awhile! You have to see them perform their song Evolve live at the MTV VMA"s! They almost blew the roof off!!! Their best live performance yet!🤘
Love this line up. Glenn lead LRB in early 80's and was replaced by John Farnham. Although I love John I do prefer the harmonies and Glenn's amazing tone. There are quite a few clips on RUclips LRB featuring John Farnham if you want to do a comparison.
Beaten by the Queen of hearts is most likely influenced by don't you draw the Queen of diamonds written by Don Henley and the words don't you want to be somebody is open to interpretation depending which way you look at it looking at pop culture today it seems that too many are trying to be a somebody on shows like Britain's got talent or other reality shows or you can decide to do something worthwhile that's not driven by ego and is genuine and when listening to a song put the lyrics last as long as the song sounds good
LRB had a bunch of hits in the 70's/ 80's. Great harmonies.

He"s loser, in other people's eyes, beaten by a queen of hearts, but he keeps on trying! Hope.

This song decided my life 😢
I think there's only one of the original members still living. At least that's the word that was going around like 7 or 8 years ago, when they played in Reno, NV. They were a great band at one time though.
UR SO RIGHT I HAVE MET MY FAVORITE WOMAN OF ALL TIME!!!!
John Farnham ❤❤His career has mostly been as a solo artist, although he replaced Glenn Shorrock as lead singer of Little River Band from 1982 to 1985.
I enjoyed this band a lot in the late ‘70s and played one of their records nearly all the way through, but I had no idea they were from Australia! They certainly don’t sound Australian, lol.
Tip of the iceberg!

It’s definitely me!!!!! Disabled divorced no children or family or friends, was homeless, now just a lonesome loser
LRB is one of the best vocal bands ever. The song is hope. We're all losers till we quit, then we become failures.
You have to check out "Cool Change" and "Lady"!! LRB is underrated.
Want one better than this? Try “ Night Owls”…a rocker for them. The harmonies are about as good as it gets.
Subbed. You guys are cool!
🥰🥰
Hey my Friends! Hsy you guys havent done The Warning in awhile! You have to see them perform their song Evolve live at the MTV VMA"s! They almost blew the roof off!!! Their best live performance yet!🤘
It's best to listen to the long version of "It's a Long Way There" if you're ever going to listen to this LRB song
John Farnham's " You are the Voice " Live Version, will blow you ! Such a Inspirational Hym to the Humanity !
Old john farnham legend singer
Love this line up. Glenn lead LRB in early 80's and was replaced by John Farnham.

Isn't it up to him to say how he feels ?
Great reaction 😊. I want you to know that Pentatonix just released o holy night music video. I would be glad if you'd check that out 👍
Look at it from a different perspective He's a Adicted gambler who loses to the Queen of Heart's 😊
Beaten by the Queen of hearts is most likely influenced by don't you draw the Queen of diamonds written by Don Henley and the words don't you want to be somebody is open to interpretation depending which way you look at it looking at pop culture today it seems that too many are trying to be a somebody on shows like Britain's got talent or other reality shows or you can decide to do something worthwhile that's not driven by ego and is genuine and when listening to a song put the lyrics last as long as the song sounds good
He's a loser but he still keeps on trying...... That would make him a failure...... 😊
At the moment, sure. But if he's not dead, and hasn't give up, he's still got a chance 🤷🏻♂️
there are a few mistakes in the lyrics
Come on guys its a song we need to stop the nonsense in the world today!!!
No, he's a loser because he never can find real love.
