This video is very very valid even for today. I did springs on my 2024 and couldn’t have done it without this video. I did use the 2x4 method instead of removing the axle nut. Thanks for this video 🇺🇸
Great video! I got a 2021 rline. I bought it already dropped and it doesn’t feel smooth driving it. Is there a “pro kit” I can get to change the feeling of it and to have smoother ride on bumpy roads?
Great video but how much did your torque the 3 bolts on top the shock, the 3 bolts for the ball joints, bolt for the link and the bolt at the bottom of the shock??? The m14 bolt?? And do they have to be under load??
Can you not just fit spring compressors on the front. Take scuttle out and remove top damper nut? Lower damper rod and remove the spring? Lowering spring will be shorter so will go back on with no compressors?
Is this your vehicle? How much does a job like this cost? I have a 2019 atlas and I have the sport springs as well. Just wondering around how much it would cost me for the install.
Great video. I just ordered the Bilstein Pro12 kit for our 2019 Tiggy and your removal and install just put my mind at ease. I'm going to try and do this without pulling out the axles as the bolts are showing not available. Did you need an alignment after the install?
Glad it was helpful for you! I’m sure it’s gonna look great after you get it all dialed in. I did end up getting an alignment and it was out so I’m glad I did.
Just completed the installation. Going for an alignment next week. This made a world of difference in how this Tiguan rides and drives. Had a bit of a hassle with the right front drive shaft coming out of the transaxle. Getting it all lined up again with the strut bolted to the body at the top was a struggle but it all the sudden popped into place and came together nicely in the end. It's an Advil night. It looks awesome too.
There's nothing more sexy than a lowered VW

What does that even mean?

Great how to video! Do you have the toque specs for the front? Only the rear torque specs were mentioned.
Where are you located? Would you be willing to tackle this for my 21 Tiguan if I’m nearby?
solid videos man!
Thanks!
Hi, great video, do you have now a tougher suspension, or it's not affecting comfort?
Hello, your video is great! I noticed you gave torque specs for the rear but not the front. Could you please give front specs, please?
My h and r springs have like a rubbbery sqweek on compression, fronts only. does yours have that? I’m tempted to try a different brand

Dealership charged me 2 hours on rear only replacement. How long did it take you?
While you are doing the top front mount bolts not a bad Idea to clean your sun roof drains that should be right under the plastic panel as well!

What was the steps to get the cv axle back in correctly?
Was the torque for the 18mm bolts 52 ftlbs or nM
So how do you like the ride - it's been a few months since the install.

@TimVChannel thank you.

The best height.... If I would lower a Tiguan would be by that much.
