Just found even if your account was whacked like mine was the uber legacies patch (RIP bloodied Explosive AimResist GTL); if you have very old items from when the legacy rolls still dropped (with said banned rolls not active). You can craft them now, just hopped on my account while watching your video; on a very very old flamer and I am seeing the explosive perk as a craft-able option.
@@seanmaier4941 explosive effect can be added to flamers with the new system, but does nothing. If you find a flamer that actually has explosive effect (not just the tag) you’re a lucky player 🍀

For those who are curious about what happened here. I had a massive legacy weapon collection back in the day. I met huge holes in game a few years ago and we hit it off pretty quick. We were both into the PVP scene back then and would often team up and join in on the action. He would often keep just a few select legacy weapons of his own at a time and then trade them off for something new after a while. I could always trust him on his word so anytime he wanted to test something or try a weapon out before finding one like it of his own he knew that he could always come by and hold on to whatever weapon he wanted pretty much. I believe it was about a month or so before the patch that he asked if he could try out some different laser rifles so I dropped him a few lasers and assaultron head to try, time went on , the patch came , and during that time he never logged back into that character that the weapons had been stored on. I lost nearly 100 or so legacies on my personal account when the patch hit so I didn’t even bother asking him about the ones I gave him back then. Yesterday he came back to the game for the first time in nearly two years so when I asked him about those weapons he went to his mule, pulled out the weapons and dropped them back to me, we were both in total shock when we saw that the stars had remained! Shout out to Huge holes for being a good friend

When I got my explosive plasma gat taken away I simply scraped it. The stars were taken away. That being said, I got a plasma gat dropped to me with the 2 star exploding mod on it. I got my old weapon back in reality. 😉
Although mine are missing their effects from the purge, they're technically still legacy. You can no longer get weapons with a second and third start, while missing the first.
They should bring back double, but make it a second star effect. That would increase the options for non vats weapons (i feel non vats weapons pretty much need to be ffr or explosive, rarely aim damage) and just give more potential of mixing effects.
My explosive Tesla from this update that dropped on eviction notice on day 1 of the update absolutely rips. Sucker is absolutely insane. So much so I can solo radiation rumble with it. It absolutely melts. The fact that we can put explosive on the gauss weapons rips too. I am hitting crits in the lower 2k ranges without rifleman perks on my commando with the Gauss rifle.
The reason that doubled has had its description updated is because the is a railway rifle that you get from completing the skyline valley questline that has the doubled effect on it, its not coming back unfortunately (well, as far as I know)
@@sirdigbychickencaesar71 actually no, the ticket to revenge does not have a description for its double ammo capacity nowhere in any pts cycle or live game has it had this description.

Stashed my B/EX/15% reload Gatling Plasma on my 2nd account the day before legacies got removed. The day of the new patch, logged back in, and there it was! Unchanged! The splitter is useless now, but I'm very happy that my experiment worked! The "filter" doesn't touch your items unless you log into a server.
I miss my old explosive laser rifle from back in the day. They let the explosive back into the pool for energy because a buncha stuff was nerfed man I remember the old explosive energy weapons were down right the best in the game you had no need for alot of making a build super specific they would just smash everything and for those lucky enough to have a Bloodied explosive they made the queen just a pawn to our grinding.
Makes me more furious, that it reminds me how they ruin my weapons, and now they give it BACK, i have some in my inventory of those SKIPPED stars legendaries (Legacies).
I still have some, what makes them special is that is that they’re trade able and I will be looking for a dupe glitch for the people who say F the wild grind

It's kinda weird, I picked up a explosive flamer. I know u can make one but didn't think u could find one seeing how the explosive doesn't work on a flamer. Am I wrong?

wouldn't be surprised if they updated the terminology for doubled since the effect still exists in game such as the case with Ticket for Revenge
I did an Eviction Notice 3days ago and I got a quad explosive and a bloodied explosive laser rifle.. also tradable
That’s normal, naturally dropped anything is tradeable, anything crafted is not… what’s in the video is neither, it’s an old legacy.
The difference in the energy explosive weps now are 20% we’re as the legacy we’re 100% explosive damage
thought they were more like 480%
@@Raziel699100% per pellet, so bea splitters dealt 480% more explosive damage than intended… since it is supposed to be 20%

The pepper shakers still has the old legacy explosion affect btw and everybody I have talk to agrees they should re-amp it or rework it in someway q
And strangleheat with the explosive pepper shaker, will cause frame rate drops
