I just built your bloodied power armor heavy build and it’s literally the best thing ever. Before I was able to tank a lot but do absolutely no damage, but now I do both!
Thank you for your builds Tyr, I’ve learned a lot from them and I changed my playstyle a lot, I always make some changes to the builds to add some QoL things but I feel like I always learn something new in every video of yours and I love that. Thank you for all your effort :)
I’m glad you’re finally back. I’m going to have to adjust some things since I don’t like playing in groups nor do I want to be bloodied but good build overall
cool to see you post this, this is almost the exact build i've been running for years :) one thing worth noting is that for gauss shotguns, science perks will give them a combined 30% extra damage! worth investing into if you use another legendary SPECIAL instead of far-flung fireworks IMO

Great build video as always! Ive been running a shotgun build for a while and was looking forward to this one for any tidbits you might’ve had! Something i would like to note: along with the demolition expert perk, the Science perks actually affect the Gauss Shotgun and increase its damage as well! It is a really heavy investment of perks for the one shotgun, but if you are running the gauss shotgun a lot like myself, it could be worth it to invest for 1 or 2 of the science cards for a decent damage boost!

about enforcer perk: i find that that rank 1 is enough to cripple enemies, especially in vats. considering that it's chance is per pellet, 5% chance is quite enough to cripple a limb in 2-3 shots
Nicely Done TYR, i recently got into shotguns and was looking into builds to go for and this one caught my attention, however with the recent changes to crits and beeing somewhat "forced" to play fullhealth (due to win11/multicore microfreezes issues) i find my self lacking compared to fullhealth commando (energy) could you give me updated advice how to tune a shotgun build in the current game situation? thx in advance
I've recently switched from my Fixer VATS Build to just a "regular" heavy gunner and I'm not doing nearly as much damage as before but it's more fun this way than just aimbotting every enemy. I would love to try a shotgunner build but I'm worried that it is also very much VATS focused
While it is vats focused it is a lot more fun, getting right up in the enemies face blasting the head and protecting yourself, as well as being the one to cripple larger enemies for the group. It’s a different playstyle kind of a mix between the heavy gunner and the commando

Slept on for sure I love it just for the extra fun it adds having to stay moving to keep shooting. Yea I could tank all dmg but what's the fun lol
