This is WONDERFUL!!! Was this built with the Lego Set 40499DO you have a parts list, or a parts list for the section with the reindeer? I saw another build where they have it motorized, and I think it would look better using the reins on the reindeer rather than the sticks.
PSA: Male & female Reindeer grow antlers, but males lose them in winter. All Santa’s reindeer, Rudolph too, are therefore all female. 👏💙 Love this build, Jay!!
Not trying to stir any pot, simply curious.. does that make the Rudolph movie we all grew up with a lie then? Reason I ask is, the movie I remember has the females with nubs, and the males with antlers.. or am I mistaken? Hmm.. going to go watch a few clips on YT to refresh my memory.. lol 🤣
I used this great tutorial to make my own 9 as well. My own style with your help. You have made my mods and displays so much better over the years.
thank you! always glad to help!
WOW!! We loved watching this. My son is a huge fan. Your tutorials are awesome.

Those 8 reindeers are dasher, dancer, prancer, vixen, comet, Cupid, donner, and blitzen!

Just perfect build before the holidays. How did you find the reindeer?
i found the deer on bricks and pieces.
Hi my little brother is a fan and would like to build your mod set, would you be able to share with me the part list not organic to the set?
i just posted the building guide with parts list on my rebrickable page.
They're called reins, Jay. ;) Very nice build!
thank you! now i know what to call them next time.
Very cool Jay! Perfect for the upcoming holidays!
thank you thomas!
@@jaystepher … hey there Jay, do you have an email address that I can send you something?
Nice, do how to build a mobile crane
I think they call those reigns.
thank you! i've learned something new for the year lol
How do you feel about Lego discontinuing baseplates in February 2022?..
it is what it is.
@@jaystepher turns out it was a hoax, sorry for the confusion
This is so awesome Jay!! Where can I order the deer? Do you have a part number? Have a great weekend!!
the part id for the deer is 69060. now you can order them from lego directly, or you can get four in "santa's sleigh 40499.
If i had nine reindeer and did this custom, i would paint one of their noses red so i could have a rudolph

I think you can call them reins as with horses but there is no connection with reindeer as that comes from a Scandinavian word.
thank yo kindly! wasn't sure what they were called.
How did you find de 5 more reindeers?
Bricklink
Ho how much is this Lego set
it's a custom creation. there's no price given.
The Santa's sleigh set, which this is based off of is $37.99

it would be kinda cool if you pinned me also keep up the tutorials and mocs!
If only this was the actual set it would be 100% accurate
