It doesn't happen very often that you see someone coming up with new ideas and techniques in the woodworking world. Just take the jig for the forstnerbit as an example, genius! And that comes from a woodworker who spends hours a day on youtube (after spending 8+ hours in the shop). Your creativity is truly outstanding! Besides that, the editing combined with your honesty is just spot on! I can't wait to see more! 👍
Your talent to imagine a project from one piece of timber is amazing. I also love how you knock the notion that people need expensive tool accessories out of the way. I think you are a God among woodworkers!
I have to say ive been a carpenter for close to 55 year. I've never seen anyone use so many tools so wrong and beautifully done. Lol just amazed me with a few of the things you've done. Thanks ive totally enjoyed watching you change what a tools for. If the companies that make tools don't change the way thier tools are used a new company going to make a lot of money just on your spade bits. Love it.
Your jig engineering is always on point, man! Well done, again! Very clever. I'm always excited to see what you've come up with in every video you drop. Keep up the awesome work!
I have to admit I haven't watched your videos for several months, but not because I don't love your stuff! Somehow your alerts got turned off on my phone (youtube issue, not operator issue!) Also "life" happened ..so Ijust happened to go looking for you tonight and low and behold a ton of cool projects including this one! Keep up the great work and don't change a bit! Your honesty, simplicity and overall demeanor is awesome not to mention your skills. Thanks for sharing with us all!
Really well done! Loved seeing the solutions you came up with to reach the intended result even without the perfect, turnkey tool at hand. Very inspiring, keep up the great videos!
Great build. I watch a lot of woodworking content and enjoy videos like this because of the mix of innovation with the design as well as tool use. Enjoyed very much.
Man, your skills with woodworking are really impressive on it's own, but the way you improvise new tools and jigs to put into practice all your ideas is outstanding! Seriously, it's so awesome to hear the idea and then see the solution you come up with to make it happen, proving that we don't need super expensive tools to create something beautiful, just good ol' creativity. This is an awesome rack, so beautiful. Keep up the good work man, I'll be here as long as I can to support your channel, I'm a big fan!
Your projects are always so inventive. I recently used your technique for making a lattice pattern on a drawer front using a miter saw and spray paint. It turned out great, thanks!
Such a super cool project. The bottom is super awesome and one could make 2 of the bottoms for a planter as well! The ideas you come up with are pretty nice with the single 2x projects. As someone else said this would look good in walnut and really just goes to show you do not need a lot of wood to make a project.
I love how this came out. It's beautiful. Your ingenuity in finding techniques to cut and shape wood is amazing. Do you do a lot of pre-planning or do you just wing-it?

Seriously, the tool innovation alone Josh employs in his videos is well worth supporting him through patreon.
Your support is very much appreciated 🙏 thank you Link!

Absolutely thinking outside the box is why we love your channel. Keep up the good work.
Refreshing design. Everytime I thought I knew what you were going to do, you surprised me.
You always impress with the quality of final product from a single piece of construction lumber!
I love the design of this, it’s so elegant looking!
I agree with a lot of the comments, you do produce original ideas I wish I was a woodworker.
Dude you're a genius. This is brilliant. Love it.

Really nice project! Seeing the addition of brass gives me DIY Perks vibes.
Ну ты и заморочился мужик!!! Хорошая работа,хорошие решения! В основание засыпь землю и посади что-нибудь!! К примеру укроп или петрушку.
That turned out really nice. Great idea, perfectly executed. 👍🏾🇬🇧💙

Amazing! It would be cool to see this made from walnut!
