super helpful. Also thanks for keeping it real with the whole "mess in the living room" (for me scattered papers is mess ha-ha:) and waiting hours for the right light. When I'm taking product photos at home, I tend to think that somehow photographers have a neat set up and take like 20 minutes to take photos. You documenting this process enabled me to see - that actually messy is ok and taking forever is ok. Thanks Omar!

Hey Omar I'm loving your videos!!! How would you photoshoot pillowcases? I'm finding it very difficult to make them look good
Hey Mel! thank u so much for checking my video out. Regarding pillow cases, I'd shoot them two ways.
1) Folded with no pillow inside them. Lay them flat on the bed and shoot them with the entire thing fully in the picture as well as some super close ups for detailed shots
2) Unfold them, lay them flat on the bed and shoot them but kinda crop them slightly out of the photo if that makes sense. Keeps things looking A E S T H E T I C.
3) Put a pillow in them, do up your bed, lay some nice things on your bed and shoot the bed in a wide angle.
Always try and make it look less forced. Also, get the photos in many different angles. Believe it or not, the most time consuming thing is setting everything up!

Photos turned out great! Was the resolution enough? the camera itself only has 12mp and on top of that you're using it in APSC mode. That would bring down the resolution to roughly 8MP
fantastic question man! it was plenty. Remember, the photos tend to get heavily compressed in instagram. If these photos were for things like print or billboards then i would have rented a camera with a completely higher MP but because it was strictly for instagram, this did the job :)
