The Texans are being battled tested. Everyone wants blowouts, but these kinds of games are the ones you gut out in the playoffs.

Nico is out with a hammy injury and several others are out with injuries.
Dont get me wrong I'm HOUSTON FAN to the core!!
But we have a lot of injuries at this point.

Exactly!!!! They know how to win close games. Baltimore blew everyone out last year and lost to a team that won nothing but close games

Does the blowout against the Vikings count as a battle test? lol… that was a battle test… 7-34 I believe… but Texans are being battle tested.
In 2023, Texans had a 7-3 WL record in games won in the final drive or minute. This year, they are 4-0 in games won in the final drive.

cardiac games also being clutch gene, sometimes good clock work too but this past weekend we did bad clock work

Losing Mixon really put the run game in the ground. Once they get that back they should be a lot more dangerous
Without Nico it was hard to get going. But we really need to stop the stupid penalties

As a Texans fan, they're not the best in the AFC. They're one of the top AFC teams, but not the best yet. They need to iron out a lot of kinks and fix alot of their issues on the D Line and O line especially. But if they can iron out everything and get everyone back healthy, they'll be a force
thank you for being objective. the chiefs are the best team and it’s not even up for debate. the texans are right behind them and they have a good shot to win come january.

Texans definitely can be the best in the AFC if the offense and defense can lock in consistently for four quarters and the team cuts down on drive killing penalties we can beat anyone.
Their Super Bowl window remains wide open and it isn't closing anytime soon!👍🏆
Thx to the author of the video. Very well done. Sounded very professional. Impressed. He brought out the obvious goods about the Texans. I would like to add & enhance that. I'm forecasting the Texans to a 9-1 record w/a win against the Lions. Later, this will be another statement game. And a 90% chance to 16-1. At worst, a 14-3 record. We do struggle a lot more when away, but it's just another area to improve on. This is the time to do it. What makes them special is their progress of improvement, besides equipped. Right now, they have a little bit of a breather w/this stretch of games that appear to give them some breakout room. The 1st 4 wks was the identification/initial development stage. W/this win against BUF, it was their 'we know who we are' stage. GB coming up in GB could be a statement game if Love gets back to where he could be. CJ is also forecasted to pitch a string, possibly long-string, of 400+ yrd games if remains healthy. Predicting he tosses 460+ at NE. Have seen an improvement by the team on CJ sacks, & not as many penalties - big. Xavier Hutchinson will do well to fill-in for Nico. He is Nico's backup. He's been with the team for a few seasons & is hungry for playing time. Here is his opportunity. The team has always done well at next-guy-up in past seasons, even when struggling. Texans smart at letting guys heal 1st - to getting them back. Joe & Nico needed most later in the season for better teams DET, DAL, KC, & BAL. Let them heal. We can do w/o them for now. Perfect timing. But badly needed later against those teams, especially KC & BAL. We only lost to the Vikings because that was Week 3 when we were getting to know ourselves. The Vikings were considered very good at the time, which they still are. They may be the replacement of the 49ers from last year, but it's still a long season. Have been emotional several times about finally seeing how very good this team is. This is the best we have ever been in 24 yrs. We are the youngest in the league. We only had one 12, one 11, and three 10-win seasons. This is our best year by far, ever, & it's only gonna get better. Our closest match is if Baltimore is clicking on us cylinders, and we happen to fall off when we play them. And the great coaching, & experience of KC. I'm not worried about KC players because we're better than they are. But it's that coaching & they're Super Bowl experience that we have to overcome. Those are our only challenges.

Cj is one of my favorite qbs in the nfl right now and I really think this team could make a championship maybe even a Super Bowl in a couple of years
I believe in the entire Texans phenomenon! Their remaining schedule is a crucible of battles. Ravens on Christmas day! I predicted them to finish 13-4. I still believe they will get it done maybe even better than 13-4. But we need our weapons! Please let us have Mixon soon!

I'm plenty happy with them, not chasing stats.Instead chasing these wins
I'm a Texans fan, but I can't say they are more talented than the Chiefs or Ravens. They probably have the most potential but until they put a few games on tape playing up to that potential and not making the game harder than it needs to be I can't trust them to go out and hang with the best teams in the league. It is strangely encouraging that they can be 4-1 while not playing clean, because it means they can be even better, but they still need to prove that they can play a clean game before I put them in the conversation with the best of the best.
The penalties and OLine are the Texns biggest hurdles. Bills would have been blown out if the Texans played the 2nd half as well as the 1st half. The defense won that game.

I have been hating on the Texans up to this point (I'm a jaguars fan) But I can't even hate any more. you guys have a top 3 quarterback and a top 5 receiving core, AND a great defense. The chiefs don't have as good of a receiving core and Patrick Mahomes isn't playing as good as C.J. If you can stay having a good run game, I'm confident you will be super successful in the playoffs.

We’re really a good team. I just feel like we need more time to click up together for offense and defense, but we definitely can give the Chiefs a run for their money going to the Super Bowl

Texans fan here actually dissapointed in last two games offensive penalties and letting teams come back into the game when we dominated is extremely frustrating if we continue to play that way we will not win a superbowl we have to finish teams when they are down

this is only the beginning to... with this new roster, we are only going to get better. if we can play some second half football and clean up the o line penalties and holds (AHEM LARAMY TUNSIL I HATE UR GUTS), then we can be a serious afc contender and possible super bowl contender
As a Texans fan I appreciate the praises but until we beat chiefs and ravens, Texans are not the best team in the AFC respectfully.
The defense needs take aways, if they play the ravens. They will get ran over by lamar and henry. Texans need a defense leader now a game changer
I don’t need to see blowouts. I need to see the same team show up three weeks in a row to know what it’s real. I don’t mind a messy victory. When every week is a messy victory, it just signals one and done in the playoffs.

The saddest thing is that both Stroud and Allen are THE ONLY LAST OF BEST of the California born and bred QB's that NFL will ever see. Like Brady and Rodgers. The Texans are good enough to make the playoffs and they will do what the Cowboys do and win 1 and done. Unless the defense, that was looking threatening in the off-season, picks itself up they are just another Texan team that will probably win the AFC South and win "A" playoff game and then get bounced out.
i think they are one of the dangerous teams in the league, they just don't know it or they do but can't use the talent to their advantage! the pats should be an easy game but watch how houston likes to let teams they play hang with them!
