This is a "vertical gpu layout" layout that I've never seen before. Looks amazing though! Great work! You should do a series on reviving old cases by giving them a custom loop job!
@@jamesonly4835 Their damn alta f1 is not inverted, and has to sit on the right side of ones desk....which defeats the purpose of being an update for this case.
And again and again, nothing but phenomenal work and absolutely badass music Stuart! Now you make me want to watch old Miami Vice reruns 😎 I remember Silverstone for their PSU back in the day as being one of the first with modular cables. I also remember this case and moding it with cold blue cathode fans from Antec, I also bought cheep LED lights made for a car and moding them to work inside my SS case 🤪 On a embarrassing note... I also used an independent koolance exterior water cooling system for my SS build. 🤦 Please do more retro modern builds brother. 👍
I saw a couple of photos of this project on Facebook, i was wondering when the video would have been uploaded on the channel. Now it is available, i'm blown away. You will never cease to amaze us Stuart
Silverstone build one of the best case ever... only limitation is the graphic card length and the expensive 180mm fans. i am using the RV02 which is similar for the past 11yrs, basically very minimal dust inside.
I have a FT02 standing in my closet. Maybe I should do something with it. Would be nice with tg sidepanel, I know I scratched the plastic in a previous build.
Oooh I still have a Silverstone Raven RV01 I bought in 2009, I only replaced it last year with the Lian Li PC 011 Dynamic XL, it has the same 90 degree turn on the motherboard and I absolutely love it. I want to build something in it again because I love the look but it definitely needs a bit of modding. Great build!
Beautiful build! I'm always amazed at how perfectly you're able to set up parallel tube layouts from the gpu block to cpu block such as here and in the seagate build. Do you mock it up in cad first or try a variety of gpus/waterblock till you find one that lines up and go with that? I'm trying to build a parallel system as well (the minor thermal disadvantage is worth the aesthetics for me) with a ek darkhero monoblock but having a tough time deciding which 3080 will have a waterblock that lines up the best
Just goes to show that it does not matter how old your components are as long as you are willing to mod and determined to make something cool and original.
Finally got this MB, looking forward to do an upgrade from X570 Taichi. Chipset rattling fan noise is driving me crazy. Didn't see if you put the washers with glue between monoblock and the MB but is a small detail. Regards
Noticed you have the gpu exhaust and intake for cpu on the "wrong sides" with this parallel loop.. does the gpu take in water backwards or the cpu? just curious, it looks amazing but a "flawed" layout none the less.
Silverstone should wake up and do a clean up and updated minimalistic new version of a couple of their old but epic cases... Especially when InWin is now totally out of the game with nothing new for over 3 years now......and yeah get rid of that crappy painted logo dear SIlverstone. Market needs cases to drop on the left side f ones desk or floor...and chimney and inverted layouts are great solutions especially for workstations with multiple gpus and parallel flows.
Hey, I use this case since a few years. A lot of space, a 90 degress turned mb and a massive chassis. it´s still good and I will use it for my upgrade this year.
What is that thing you are using to plug in power to the GPU? I’ve never seen that before That build looks so good. Only you could make a 10 year old case look like that
I still love my HAF X in which I had QX9770 and Rampage Extreme up to i7 990x with R3E black edition and later 6x watercooled Sapphire 6950@6970 for early BTC mining (in 2012, so don't call me out for my fault you're not able to get graphic cards :PP), currently on mac pro, but ASAP I'll be building a new PC, it's going out of the box, get a color refresh and new build... Can fit every damn PSU, GPU or radiators I want...
Wow! Red And Black Combo.Excellent Color Scheme. Old Case With New specs. Custom Loop.If The Tubes Are Transparent,It Would Be Colorful.Great Work Bro..
i dont think is best to put tubings in 1 lope going to CPU. GPU also giving away more heat to the CPU passing thru the lope. even though you have bigger radiator. this is my own opinion because the liquid will not pass the rad first it will go to CPU first then deperse to the rads.
In my opinion 2006 to 2010 was the era of the best trend of cases: Big Tower, filled with tons of hardware from GPUs, some of them with two GPUs processing units in one PCB, Sound Cards and tons of storage. As an owner of a Coolermaster Stacker 832 that I still use for current hardware (after designing new IO ports PCBs and modernising it for the current trends) , I give you a challenge: build a modern water cooling system on one of them, fill it to the brim with hardware.
Hey mate! Firstly, WOW. Amazing build, it's just stunning. Right down my alley in every way. I love the black red and nickel colour combination. It's just soo good looking. I've actually ordered parts for my own adaptations of this build since i got my hands on a FT02 during Christmas. Is there a chance to get the measurements for the panel that holds the FLT/Pump? I'd love to recreate that. What material is it made from? Thanks again for posting all these amazing builds! Please never stop :D all the best from Sweden.
Yeah it really is an awesome case even today. I've got one that I've been holding onto for ages that I'm going to use for my next build and I even managed to source a 540mm Alphacool XT45 rad for the loop.
If you connect the tubes on both sides of the terminal like on the gpu, wouldnt the water just flow straight through and not go into the gpu fin stack?
I watch these twice through sometimes. Once for the hardware. Second time for the music. It reminds me of all the b action movies from back in the day. The ones with van damn, Arnold, sly, banks and others.
What happened with the brand Silverstone last epic case I remember from them is tj11. Epic build from GGF. I will do something with my lian li armorsuit pc 80 that I still have since the launch :D
Beautiful. If I had know months ago that this board was coming out I would have waited. Alas, I had already invested in the EK Ryzen block for an AMD board. Well, no regrets.
This is a "vertical gpu layout" layout that I've never seen before. Looks amazing though! Great work! You should do a series on reviving old cases by giving them a custom loop job!
Am thinking about it.
FT02 was a legend. This is the time when Silverstone was dominating Lian Li and all the other premium aluminum/steel cases.
@@GGFEvents Revisit the TJ07 and compare it to modern cases for watercooling?
one of the greatest layouts. silverstone i believe has a patent on this 90 degree layout.
ALTA F1 is their latest.

This back when Silverstone made great cases. My FT05 needs a update and a glass panel.
Silverstone was crushing people left and right
The Alta F1 is Silverstone's successor to the FT05, it also has tempered glass.

Still have my TJ08-E under my desk atm lol they make great cases. Would love to see a new revision of these vertical layout from Silverstone.
I bought a dual 5.25 bay to three 3.5 hdd bracket & changed my tj08e into a NAS 😅
Yeah boy! Can’t go wrong with silver stone! I still have my TJ07 and TJ08 for nostalgia! You guys did an amazing job as usual and I love it! ❤️
TJ07 was the case to have back in the day. I'd love one even now.
Great PC Buildi Great case Great Sound 💪

Love the idea of using older chassis. Great content! Keep up the good energy
Cleanest looking build of 2021
Very cool! Always liked the inverted / 90 degree rotated design. Excellent job as always
Wow I remember seeing this case when I was still in my High School reading PC magazines :D
That statisfying peel on the Prime logo. Nice build!
Ngl, I kinda want to see what GGF could do with an Antec 900 case. 😍
Man I loved this case! Do a TJ11 build next!

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
Your Marksmanship amazed me .. To explore the possibility even more ...
I'm speachless. Every PC you build is a work of art. Can you build me one..lol...
One of the best builds I've ever seen. Shame you didn't get a blanking plate to cover the optical media slats.

Sorry I haven't looked at your build yet, I've been spending the last 9:08 admiring this sweet case.
Old but gold. I really love old silverstone cases
Wow, amazing. I love the industrial look.

That effect of the Red flashing on the Radeon logo was really incredible. Amazing build!

Wondering the same, looked so clean.
5.25" in 2021...
SilverStone, wake up, u f*ck up
That acrylic side panel though! Lol.
how are you sooo good at this!!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗....loved the build!!!
I had a silverstone temjin that I LOVED but I sold it like an idiot years ago
If you truly want a challenging case to watercool, check out the Segotep Argus.
Such an awesome case! Would love to see a triple 180mm radiator in the bottom, and the front 5,25" bays could fit an LCD really nicely.
Cant fit triple 180
What about to place instead of the five 5.25" slot covers a display?
how far Silverstone has fallen from this case line. Super generic bland cases now.
Second song is Redemption by Thomahawk

Nice, have 2 of these cases floating around. Might be time to revive them.
this thing is insane !! the little details epic, what lcd screen is at the back?
lol i have this case just collecting dust in my garage. sweet build man.
holy f*ck, what an amazing build O.O
no way i never thought you are going to use this case bro

Awesome looking build, pitty about the door
3:51 where i can find those power adapter for gpu? Awesome work!
Nice Touch with the Radeon logo colour shifting!
Bro I love the way this looks definitely a different look to a PC!
Should have a fire animation for the screen on the bottom 😂😂
not gonna lie this a clean ass rig for water cooling imo most normal cases make it look way too cramped this has tons o room for fun lmao
Really you make good bluid of crazy hats to you 👌
Fantastic work, i prefer without side cover
Long live the 5.25" bay!
How can someone dislike this beauty, I am mesmerized by the black/gray gun color in contrast with the red leds
