I've been a musician for 28 years and get goosebumps seeing this beautiful crowd how they sing along, raise their hands to the beat and simply how they're feeling the music. I'd give anything to be one of the band members on that stage at that moment.
I was there that night. life changing performance/experience. we where all one that whole show, the expectation fully matched the experience. Finding it hard to connect with live bands since then .still love live bands but not been in that state since (few songs out of equation by others)) saw beth Hart there too
AGREED! Amazing performance - the band is in perfect form, Ed's vocals are dead on, and the fans are simply incredible. Outstanding from start to finish... It makes you wish they just kept playing.....
Paradiso FTW! Best venue ever, right in the middle of Amsterdam and a landmark for decades already. Love going to the Paradiso to see bands with 1500 like minded people. It's always special there, whoever plays there. Although Live at that time could sell out far bigger venues in the Netherlands they chose the temple of Rock in Amsterdam.
I remember concerts without stupid ass cell phones everywhere!!!! You were in the moment!! Always! And the stories you told about the concert were better than the show because you were connected with you're brothers and sisters
Man I've been playing guitar for almost 2 decades and never really liked bands of the 90s and on up. Lead guitar is what grabs me. But Live is one exception. God damn can Kowalczyk sing. His add libs and improv while performing are just raw natural fucking talent flowing through his veins.
@@ZeeZee9 back then I was only into classic rock mostly and thought "Alternative" and "Grunge" was for fuckin idiots. Remember "Presidents of the United States of America"? They were just piss in the pool of 90s and it took me a lot longer than usual to enjoy the 90s greats. Of course there was great 90s music...
@@BradleyVolk3 Oh yeah haha. Forgot about them. Yeah they were like the poppiest of 90s alt rock. There was a lot of darker deeper stuff that was great. I'm sure you have discovered them by now. Better late than never :)
Just once, and I'm sure EVERYONE will agree on this... Just once... to hear Ed Kowalczyk and Chris Shinn both doing this... would be something of epic proportions.
Update: Ed dropped that bullshit, got the band back together and said "FUCK IT, LET'S ROCK!!!" Mostly due to him and Chad Taylor having a very deep heart to heart at a bar one night, and well, as they say "The rest is history."
One of the Most Erotic song abt Life's Cycle. I had the Pleasure of meeting Ed Kowalczyk Feb 14 2012 in Saskatoon after his preformance. His Energy is Inspiring & Spellbinding!!!
This song was released as a single in late 1999 failed to crack the top 40 of the Bollboard hot 100 which goes to show how low our taste in music has fallen.
They had a little different interaction with the crowd at St. Bonaventure Univ when I was in school. Someone in the crowd put a beautiful spiral on a big clog shoe from about 20 rows deep and hit him square in the head. They walked off stage and never came back.
In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself, 29 for no man ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cherishes it, just as the Christ does the congregation, 30 because we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother and he will stick to his wife, and the two will be one flesh.” 32 This sacred secret is great. Now I am speaking about Christ and the congregation. 33 Nevertheless, each one of you must love his wife as he does himself; on the other hand, the wife should have deep respect for her husband. -Ephesians 5:28-33 NWT.
Its 2023 and i'm 58 now, and disabled, but feel like dancing when i hear this song
Same, but 46
I totally understand! ❤🎉

One of the best live performance I have ever heard or seen. No pun intended :)
AGREED! Amazing performance - the band is in perfect form, Ed's vocals are dead on, and the fans are simply incredible. Outstanding from start to finish... It makes you wish they just kept playing.....

2020 and still freaking awesome..

Man, Andre Agassi has a voice...😮

My favorite rock drummer. Amazing swing💪
I miss this kind of concerts. Audience living the momentum.
That's because music of today is garbage and doesn't move people.
thanks my God so much for giving me my the senses to listen and see this great performance
This is my absolute favorite song by LIVE. I would have paid so much money to see this live .

How can you not like any 90s rock bands? What?

Sounds so amazing
God Damn I MUST get my ass to the PARADISO!!!
Best band ever, please come to Chicago
A beautiful man, inside and out.
i'm glad this crowd is singing along, cause these lyrics would actually make karaoke worth it, when everyone hates karaoke
I never had the chance to see them live. I fear I never will now that they have broken up.
My favorite of this band!
masterpiece performance of a masterpiece of a song
Man that would have been a fun one to be at!!! Love when this happens!!!
Eu admiro bandas como essa ,que sempre não importando há época fazem á diferença!

What killer fucking Band!
Que grupo tan fino....q manera tan pulcra de tocar bien en vivoiiisimplemente musicazos completosiii
Dolphins are very intelligent animals. When they cry, we'd better listen.
David Tong I know that's right!
Just once, and I'm sure EVERYONE will agree on this...

Too bad Ed got all religious
+robertk2007 were they not always religious? I always dug live, but I didn't always notice the lyrics in detail
They never were religious to begin with. If anything their lyrics were shamanistic during the Distance to Here era.
Update: Ed dropped that bullshit, got the band back together and said "FUCK IT, LET'S ROCK!!!" Mostly due to him and Chad Taylor having a very deep heart to heart at a bar one night, and well, as they say "The rest is history."
Literall Chills. Love Live!❤
When that song touch your soul
saw him in Albany new York..... Looking
forward to seeing
him again!

EmeraldTreeMamboa HA he's more handsome. Hay everyone's got a twin dude.
Amazing performance and song, but what’s with the moment where Ed touches the guitarist’s hair 😅
Awwwwwwwww
Ed once introduced it with " This song is not neccesarily about dolphins. It could... But in that case the dolphins would have to be FUCKING" :)
(Pema40....) rite... i love this guy soo much. theres a vid of overcome and he is shirtless. lol
🤩❤️

Five people can't hear the dolphins cry.
What show was this from? Was this an official release?
Paradiso Amsterdam

They only let good artists play here like nirvana etc. Not these new age pop artist FUDS!

They didn’t play this or Heaven in Phoenix this year.
Had time for covers from REM , Stones, etc. Very disappointing.
Where is the Paradiso located?
Amsterdam in The Netherlands
Dylan Cornet Thanks.

@marcalmondgay ... mom spelled backwards is mom.
0:21 the young girls worship the god of fertility and ritual madness Dionysus
Didn’t know Jeff bezos was in a band
TALICUD island
See, there's still some good stuff left on this shitty platform.
This is one example.
