Just saw these fine boys in Atlantic city Nj. My 6th time seeing them. They never disappoint! They are Amazing LIVE, go figure and I'll put them up against almost any other band live performances.. drums and bass are underestimated and Ed has great pitch and variance. Love you boys Jesus is King and God wins.
Thi show is AMAZING, this is one of the highlights but sadly, this song is not included on the cd. The performance, the sound, the place, the crowd... FIVE STARS!!!!
I don't think the writing took a nose dive. There are plenty of great songs after your example. I think the egos of the band got the best of them. Fame is tough to handle, especially when it comes quick. And Ed is just as guilty as the rest. And it's too bad, for all of us. This band was something special..
Brian Lehman If I remember correctly their wikipedia entry said the they had been playing together since middle school. If true, well, how many decades can you go doing the same tour circuit, same songs, yada yada yada...at some point he probably wants to get away from these people he's been "playing" with since they're like twelve....Can't blame him for wanting free after giving us two decades of unique works and concert tours.

Well...I didn´t know about Ed in São Paulo because Iose that fan feeling but...I don´t know why this things happens but...My fan feeling has return and it´s more strong than ever. I follow Live career since middle 90´s and today is very,very difficult to find fans like me...specially here in Brazil. I hope some lots of Live fans whe Ed return to SP. Well...I hope so.
Sad to hear Run to the water didnt make the dvd dut im buying that bitch anyway! Been a live fan since Throwing Copper and I have to say I fucking love this band! Seen em live twice and theyre the second best live band ive seen. Second only to U2! I think they deserve so much more cred than theyve been given! Glad to see some live fans still around! Love & peace to all yous!
