Well, this was an eye opener. The stickers look great but the water test really showed that they're just regular, run of the mill stickers with a big price tag.
    Thank you very much!!!

Just curious if you would see different results if you allowed 4-6 hours before the water test. When I’m doing higher end projects printed from my inkjet I always allow at least 4 hours for the ink to fully dry. As for the adhesive part even command strips tell you to wait several hours before hanging something.

I've found you must laminate if you use inkjet or it runs, on any vinyl. But I used a cold roll laminator and it's pretty straight forward, and protects it great against water and scratches. Also, Brother makes a machine called the Scan N Cut. Once printed and laminated you, scan it back through the machine and it detects the edges and cuts for you. You can do an offset or an inset. Set it to cut all the way through or to just to a kiss cut so you have sticker sheets. The water test is depressing. I was testing my own stickers and placed 3 on my car. 2 are printed on waterproof vinyl using laser. The image doesn't wash off but your colours are duller. However, after about a month on, with rain, snow, and dirt, and temp changes from -4C to +20C (March in Southern Canada), the edges are coming up. I just put on an inkjet laminate one and will see how it does. I have a 3rd to try of a different vinyl but I'd imagine it will be similar as these sheets don't tend to be too adhesive. I did wash, let the cleaner dry and evaporate completely, then applied, as solvents can cut down your tackiness.

I would like to find a printable vinyl that I don't have to seal and use uv resin or regular resin

You can use a laser printer and it won't wash off but the colours are duller. And i'd only do like 1 sheet at a time, you don't want it getting super hot and potentially melting in there and making a mess or ruining the machine. But I have done it. I opted for laminating so i get the richer colours.
