How many of these people are even going to remember this conversation when they wake up in the morning?
Joey was essentially just feeding a bunch of hungry drunk people that, frankly, would have consented to eat a squashed snail from the bottom of a shoe in the state they were in.
There are many clips in this that you could even tell people were being sarcastic, but were cut off in an edit before it was revealed that they were being facetious.
I get that Joey had to improvise, but I think people’s donated money would better be spent when he is doing activism for people that are more likely to be sober.
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 Although the activism in person might not be as effective, having a variety of different style videos on the channel probably captures the attention of a variety of people. My friend wasn’t interested in watching many of the clips I sent but got hooked on these drunken activism clips purely because they were funny to start with and eventually took more interest in being vegan properly

It’s almost been a year since I’ve gone vegan and I went to my brothers graduation about a week ago. Mind you this was at a baseball stadium so there was a lot of ballpark food. It made me sick to even stand the smell walking through the front door.🤢

So you disagree with the trite and boring old line used by vegans that goes something along the lines of, 'how can you say you love animals then eat them?' Or, 'you cant possibly care about animals and not be vegan'....
@@evilsbrother8247 As you continue your activism, please consider the following ideas that may help you be seen in a better light:
1.) Respond to the person you are actually talking to. Do not put words in their mouth that they did not say. Do not make assumptions about what they believe. Not all Christians think the Earth is 6000 years old. Not all vegans are out of touch with what it was like to be non-vegan. Why are you responding to me, and not making your own comment?
2.) Do not insult them, especially without any substance to back it up. The only response that can come from this is causing them to entrench and dismiss you. Nobody is ever going to think: "This stranger and their dog think I'm not all there. They must be right!"
3.) Be aware of the idea that you're responding to. The instance I was quoting from the video is quite literally an example of Joey accepting that a non vegan cares deeply for animals. Your response makes it obvious that you either did not watch the video, or did not understand that moment.
4.) Be educated on the topic you are speaking about. How many books have you read on veganism? How many documentaries have you watched with an open mind? You're engaging with an audience that is mostly familiar with all the popular arguments for and against veganism. If you're going to be persuasive, you need to be able to engage with your audience more effectively than implying that all vegans think all non-vegans are heartless. That's not even a substantive claim relating to veganism. It's just an objectively false group character attack.
5.) Be logically sound. You being offended by a vegan that doesn't think you love animals isn't coherent or rational evidence against what veganism actually is.
6.) If you aren't able to make some effort to aim in the direction of 1-5, you aren't being an activist. You are trolling.
It always makes me smile when people try vegan meats and really enjoy it. I love cooking vegan food and sharing with my non vegan friends.

I was watching this and my girlfriend was on TikTok while we were eating our breakfast and she has expressed interest in going vegan before and wants to do the “baby steps” method of vegetarianism first but so far hasn’t done it. When Joey said “Most people are against animal cruelty” (7:02) she stopped and I asked her what was wrong. I hoped she was listening and she was; she had just been hit with the realisation and said “You can’t really be against animal cruelty unless you’re vegan, can you?”
I was so proud of her and so I spoke to her about her makeup and about how she goes out of her way to make sure it’s cruelty-free but doesn’t do the same with her meals.

2 things:
1) It was something my girlfriend just so happened to pick up when she overheard the video so it was her take.
2) How is it flimsy? By the definition of veganism, it is an attempt to eliminate all forms of animal suffering to the highest extent practicable and possible. If you oppose animal cruelty, why would you choose to participate in animal suffering if you don’t need to. That seems like a contradiction.

It's highly doubtfull a celiac will be going around just eating any thing they find on the streets. There are only 7 allergens and yes if you have one or more of these you don't just go around eating any thing.

Plant based will never be close to the majority.
The diversity of plant matter that cattle can digest is massive compared to the plant matter humans can digest. Cattle have a 4 compartment stomach and humans only 1.
Its far more efficient for humans to get their nutrients from beef than plants.

Have you watched MILKED. I am from New Zealand,but haven't been there in a long while. I was shocked and devastated to hear of the environmental devastation,especially to our water,by the dairy industry,there.
I am Vegan For The Animals,but,an environmental activist and human rights activist.. and educational activist...( different identity/name in NZ,changed for me,for safety reasons ) most of my life and grieved for a land and way of life,lost...perhaps forever,by a callous industry and the propoganda Kiwis were fed,for too long, when I watched MILKED on RUclips.It's a really well put together film.
I pray it's not too late and people can,one day,once again swim in the waters,as pure as they once were and gather watercress in unpolluted streams...and cup their hands,as makeshift cups,to drink straight from pure streams,rivers and lakes,as I once did.
New Zealand...we used to be proud of the fact that we bowed down to no one,not even the French or Americans...all the time,unaware of how we were supporting ,as eager consumers,one of the worst industries on the planet - The Dairy Industry.
I weep for the animals,for the land,for the waters,for the people. It's a crying shame... and we brought it on ourselves !

I've owned chickens for over 10 years! I somehow made the connection that chickens are killed for chicken nuggets when I was in 4th grade and stopped eating chicken. Isn't that amazing?? A 4th grader could make the connection that chickens suffered to get chicken nuggets.

At that animal fest there were served dead animals and there were horses and other animals enslaved.

Maybe for the better: if someone is open and in the mood to receive, then great, but if someone isn’t in the moment anyway and not able to tune into another train of thought, then it’ll probably not work anyways 🤷🏻♂️
I sort of dropped a vegan bomb on three old folks today, when my wife & I walked the dog: they had commented about me walking barefoot in slightly cool weather today, saying how back in the day they used to do that too … I replied that there were many things back in the day that were done differently … like only eating meat once or twice a week.
One was silent, one said they only eat meat once a week and turned away, and the oldest actually engaged and said that that’s not healthy anyways and she only ate fish. I said we don’t eat any animals and fish is also an animal. I added: they say eating fish is healthy - but definitely not for the fish 🤷🏻♂️

@@minimal-vegan Fish often have pollutants like mercury, microplastics, PCB's etc. I get my omega 3 from ground flax, walnuts, and an algae based supplement. Fish get omega 3 from eating algae, or other fish who do. The channel nutritionfacts has the details.

@@rondarkman. 20 million views doesn't indicate every viewer loves pig hunting. The viewers could have viewed that video for any number of reasons; likes pig hunting, dislikes pig hunting, arguing in comment section of the video, or simply just curious about hunting animals.
Tell me, what percentage of those 20 million viewers actually viewed the video because they support & like pig hunting?
@@rondarkman. There isn't any argument I presented, I was simply being objective. Same question for that bigger video, but since it's a purely food related video, more people would click on the video solely for the steak, and less for arguments & disliking of steak.
30 million is still less than how many vegans there are in the world, which is apparently at 79 million. You'd have to come up with a Gordon Ramsay video to dwarf the number of vegans globally. Still, the number of vegans might not take into account people who are simply plant-based, which veganism and plant-based both consume plant-based products.
The only difference is, one is practically a major life style difference, the other is a simple diet. Veganism is indeed world wide, and well known though.
Also, I wouldn't take a video viewing count as a credible source.

After 1 year of being vegan, (i had to technically restart)I tried a chicken wing w/ military friends, we were bonding around beer & wings at a reunion & one of my friends got me to eat one. I kind of was experimenting w/ myself to see if I could or if I'd notice the difference b/c back when I did eat meat for about less than 1/2 my life, I'd just eat lean meats like chicken, lean beef, or fish from the wrong info presented in a book Eat Right For Your Type. Something always felt wrong like I'd have to "man up" or lower my consciousness to eat it for sustenance. I always thought it was still gross to have decomposing flesh inside of a non-refrigerated stomach, not to mention the rancid smells associated. Also not to mention cognitive dissonance from seeing a baby calf playing w/ a ball as a kid & thinking how it reminded me of my dog, disregarding my natural senses/consciousness . Fitness has always been super important to me and I believed in the "Protein Theory" before learning how how protein is really a theory, just "acids" and iron phosphate only from plants gives u strength (in an alkaline body, acids serve no purpose for energy/electricity). The minerals in animals are from the plants they eat and instead of putting living food meant for our bodies we adopted a practice of feeding off of death from carcass not meant for a lengthy digestive track by cooking on a fire. This shows, even if it was something done out of survival, it would have been done out of a "scarcity" or "stressed based" mindset. If you observe creatures in nature that eat decomposing flesh, they consist mainly of parasites & scavengers w/ paws claws, snouts, & jaws that do not move side to side. The eyes of a cat (or raptor bird) look more like a reptile than say a cow or goat's just as an observation to animals who can eat raw flesh as a side note. To f/up on the chicken wing, I felt sick after, it was disgusting & I'm vegan for over 1 year strong 💪 since then

Hey Joey - Thanks for all that you are doing for animals and vegans everywhere! In regards to your past look at Ben Carson. He had a serious anger problems as a kid and he turned into a world famous surgeon. There is a movie about it called Gifted Hands. I recommend it. I feel a sense of hope after watching this kind of content again. Honestly I'm going through serious heartbreak and have been feeling a huge loss of trust in people. Seeing vegan activism again makes me believe that not everybody is selfish and positive things can come about when we take action. Thanks for restoring some of my hope!
