I'm vegan since I was 12, I'm 20 now. It's probably the best decision I've made in my life. After 2 years even my parents changed after seeing all the great things that being vegan gives you... everyone is different and may need more time than others to "wake up".

Humans don't need flesh to survive. We don't even like the taste, you know, in it's natural form. Or, do we eat animal parts body temperatur warm and bloody, with fur and skin on it? We prefer animals that have been killed by someone else, then all traces of "animal" removed (skin, head, feet, tail, teeth, most bones etc We season and cook most of the cows chickens and pigs.
My wife and I have hit two years now as vegans and are going next week (when the place opens again) to get tattoos on our wrists. Nothing fancy, in fact I want mine to almost be a kind of branding. Just a big five letter word (VEGAN) on my wrist (facing outwards) so any time I'm in a store getting change, or doing a handshake or whatever, my position is displayed. We've both loved watching your videos this last 24 months and it's spurred us on no end (I'm a patron as well and think you do an amazing job) and I absolutely believe that we are even more dedicated to being vegan now than we were at the start. 🌱

One correction: We are NOT eating the antibiotics through the cows. But multi-resistant bacteria and viruses are found ON the products made from animals, because they are contaminated during the process of slaughter, chopping and packaging.

The world will be vegan one day, change is coming! Tesco in the UK just announced they are going to be promoting plant based foods a lot more moving forward.... ASDA where we shop now has a little vegan section that's snuck it's way into the end of the aisle. Amazing to see!

A couple of these guys came by on other days days, too, huh? I recognize some of them from your previous videos. They must have really been touched by the truth. It's great that they returned to learn more about the industries. Often those who live humble lives and underwent the hardships of life have easier time relating to the pain and suffering of others. (Not all, but frequently,) the more we become privileged, the more we forget to be compassionate and caring towards others.

I agree that making animals suffer for food is immoral, but there is nothing wrong with testing medicine on animals. This is an ends justify the means situation, you can use that medicine to save people or improve their quality of life. The benefits outweigh the animals that have to suffer/die for the medicine to be approved.
Thank you for bringing awareness to people! This level of mass cruelty needs to stop for the animals, and because the consequences come back to us via pandemics, diseases, we can't keep putting this kind of barbaric energy into the universe and not expect it to hit us back worse. Enough is enough!

There are at least two types of humans. One is good, full of compassion and love for all living creatures and the other is cruel , inhumane and lacking feelings concerning others wellbeing. The point is that the gap is extremely wide to raise awareness about the reality of this world. Our differences have genetics reasons backdated of many thousands years. The experts in certain fields know the story but they don't talk .... I want the Truth and I won't be happy until I get it. I have the right to know who am I dealing with , nothing to be hidden again in time......

If somebody can sit down and watch slaughter house footage with their children and the whole family feels OK about what they've seen, then I guess they can go on. But how can anybody watch it, really watch it like a real compassionate person and continue to support that industry? The meat industry makes this footage extremely difficult to obtain for a reason. They know that if people become aware of what is happening, they'll stop buying their product. People are resistant to change, but the change must happen.
It’s interesting that many of the homeless people who stop around Joey are often very empathetic toward the animals in the videos. It’s almost as if having seen first hand how humans can treat other humans so badly within society makes the mistreatment of animals seem equally disgusting.
12:07 Oh my, I used that argument "respecting the animal" years ago, but directed at myself. It was to justify eating meat when I had this random feeling that I shouldn't. Which came out of nowhere. if I was to turn vegan, the main thing that concerns me is recovery (I train a lot 5-6 days a week bodybuilding) and because of this my daily protein intake has to be higher than average because of the need for extra amino acids to help repair and build new muscle mass, plus to add to this I require more of a higher vitamin and mineral intake all of which is constantly the main nutritional dispute going on where vegan diets are concerned as flesh has a much higher, denser and bioavailability than plant based products for amino acids, fat soluble vitamins, b vitamins, and many more other vitamins and minerals. The reason why I’m actually considering a vegan nutritional plan is for the simple fact that i do like trying new things and due to certain medications i take I am at a higher risk of cholesterol related deceases and complications. I do ofcourse exercise precautions such as including at least 100 grams of oats, 50 grams of dark chocolate 80%, 100 grams blueberries these foods have all been proven to have massive health benefits after 3-4 days of consumption such as lowering blood pressure, cleaning out build up in your arteries and many more, on top of this aswell intake multi vitamin and mineral supplements. I’ve always tried and normally been quite successful in including food groups that have scientific studies behind them which aids in my goals and ofcourse this is where I find many arguments and flaws with veganism. I wouldn’t be doing it for animals and I know to some this might sound harsh but I truly believe we are the dominant species and because of our intellect and human emotions our life’s matter far more than any other life on this planet you just have to look outside your home to see the wonders of the human race and yet just looking through history to how far above everything else we are it’s truly amazing we clearly have a higher purpose and meaning than other life on this planet, we have been talking about space travel and colonising other planets which isn’t that far away. I mean look at you, yes you, if you was anything else other than human if you was hungry you would eat what ever next meal came your way. But because you are human and feel that killing other lesser beings as such for nutrition that you require is wrong you have tried to obtain that nutrition elsewhere without (to the best of your knowledge) harming, hurting or killing a lesser being. However if the higher life requires something to thrive and to reach there full potential such as eating lesser beings ie chicken, beef fish etc then that luxury is afforded to them due to the evolutionary pecking order that for 1000s of years we the human race have been fighting against to reach the top. My goals would be purely for the betterment of improving my physical, mental capabilities and decreasing my odds of illness and sickness therefore increasing my overall life expectancy Do you think a vegan diet could make me/the human race thrive not just survive?
It definitely can make you thrive. I suggest checking out Mic the Vegan's channel. Look up vegan athletes, watch The Game Changers if you haven't yet. I am not an athlete but some of my vegan friends are athlete runners and a bodybuilder. Recovery is even better on a vegan diet. But yea, check out those resources so I don't have to write a comment the length of a Bible xD

Other animals, who eat animals, kill the animals themselves - with their family. When is that last time anyone did that? 😅 plus, the other animals who kill other animal, do it innorder to survive. Humans don't need flesh to survive. We don't even like the taste, you know, in it's natural form. Or, do we eat animal parts body temperatur warm and bloody, with fur and skin on it?
We prefer animals that have been killed by someone else, then all traces of "animal" removed (skin, head, feet, tail, teeth, most bones etc
We season and cook most of the cows chickens and pigs.

My wife and I have hit two years now as vegans and are going next week (when the place opens again) to get tattoos on our wrists. Nothing fancy, in fact I want mine to almost be a kind of branding. Just a big five letter word (VEGAN) on my wrist (facing outwards) so any time I'm in a store getting change, or doing a handshake or whatever, my position is displayed. We've both loved watching your videos this last 24 months and it's spurred us on no end (I'm a patron as well and think you do an amazing job) and I absolutely believe that we are even more dedicated to being vegan now than we were at the start. 🌱

One correction: We are NOT eating the antibiotics through the cows. But multi-resistant bacteria and viruses are found ON the products made from animals, because they are contaminated during the process of slaughter, chopping and packaging.

A couple of these guys came by on other days days, too, huh? I recognize some of them from your previous videos. They must have really been touched by the truth. It's great that they returned to learn more about the industries. Often those who live humble lives and underwent the hardships of life have easier time relating to the pain and suffering of others. (Not all, but frequently,) the more we become privileged, the more we forget to be compassionate and caring towards others.

I agree that making animals suffer for food is immoral, but there is nothing wrong with testing medicine on animals. This is an ends justify the means situation, you can use that medicine to save people or improve their quality of life. The benefits outweigh the animals that have to suffer/die for the medicine to be approved.

There are at least two types of humans. One is good, full of compassion and love for all living creatures and the other is cruel , inhumane and lacking feelings concerning others wellbeing. The point is that the gap is extremely wide to raise awareness about the reality of this world. Our differences have genetics reasons backdated of many thousands years. The experts in certain fields know the story but they don't talk .... I want the Truth and I won't be happy until I get it. I have the right to know who am I dealing with , nothing to be hidden again in time......

If somebody can sit down and watch slaughter house footage with their children and the whole family feels OK about what they've seen, then I guess they can go on. But how can anybody watch it, really watch it like a real compassionate person and continue to support that industry? The meat industry makes this footage extremely difficult to obtain for a reason. They know that if people become aware of what is happening, they'll stop buying their product. People are resistant to change, but the change must happen.

It’s interesting that many of the homeless people who stop around Joey are often very empathetic toward the animals in the videos. It’s almost as if having seen first hand how humans can treat other humans so badly within society makes the mistreatment of animals seem equally disgusting.

if I was to turn vegan, the main thing that concerns me is recovery (I train a lot 5-6 days a week bodybuilding) and because of this my daily protein intake has to be higher than average because of the need for extra amino acids to help repair and build new muscle mass, plus to add to this I require more of a higher vitamin and mineral intake all of which is constantly the main nutritional dispute going on where vegan diets are concerned as flesh has a much higher, denser and bioavailability than plant based products for amino acids, fat soluble vitamins, b vitamins, and many more other vitamins and minerals.
The reason why I’m actually considering a vegan nutritional plan is for the simple fact that i do like trying new things and due to certain medications i take I am at a higher risk of cholesterol related deceases and complications. I do ofcourse exercise precautions such as including at least 100 grams of oats, 50 grams of dark chocolate 80%, 100 grams blueberries these foods have all been proven to have massive health benefits after 3-4 days of consumption such as lowering blood pressure, cleaning out build up in your arteries and many more, on top of this aswell intake multi vitamin and mineral supplements.
I’ve always tried and normally been quite successful in including food groups that have scientific studies behind them which aids in my goals and ofcourse this is where I find many arguments and flaws with veganism.
I wouldn’t be doing it for animals and I know to some this might sound harsh but I truly believe we are the dominant species and because of our intellect and human emotions our life’s matter far more than any other life on this planet you just have to look outside your home to see the wonders of the human race and yet just looking through history to how far above everything else we are it’s truly amazing we clearly have a higher purpose and meaning than other life on this planet, we have been talking about space travel and colonising other planets which isn’t that far away. I mean look at you, yes you, if you was anything else other than human if you was hungry you would eat what ever next meal came your way.
But because you are human and feel that killing other lesser beings as such for nutrition that you require is wrong you have tried to obtain that nutrition elsewhere without (to the best of your knowledge) harming, hurting or killing a lesser being.
However if the higher life requires something to thrive and to reach there full potential such as eating lesser beings ie chicken, beef fish etc then that luxury is afforded to them due to the evolutionary pecking order that for 1000s of years we the human race have been fighting against to reach the top.
My goals would be purely for the betterment of improving my physical, mental capabilities and decreasing my odds of illness and sickness therefore increasing my overall life expectancy

It definitely can make you thrive. I suggest checking out Mic the Vegan's channel. Look up vegan athletes, watch The Game Changers if you haven't yet. I am not an athlete but some of my vegan friends are athlete runners and a bodybuilder. Recovery is even better on a vegan diet. But yea, check out those resources so I don't have to write a comment the length of a Bible xD
