Cleetus mentioned in the interview with Cooper that they are currently looking at building a new race venue in the near future somewhere in the same general area. Cleetus wants to have the new facility completely finished and up and running before moving there. He can then sell the track property and make a fortune, He's also looking to move from his house as well due to the same reasons with all the new developments surrounding his digs now. It would be cool if he could incorporate one of these water sport tracks into the new venue.
@@TheFlatlander440 he said it will be years before anything really starts rolling on new track properties. No reason tieing up free cash now when the original places can still operate. Once the city starts to turn on them then they will start looking into new venues. @@ryanc8188 That's why I mentioned "in the near future". He has to start looking for property now before the prices really begin to skyrocket. Glad to see that you came to the home of jet boating for your latest purchase. I remember my first ride in a jet boat back in the late 1950's. It had a British 4 banger powered centrifugal pump and a whooping 30 mph. Back then that was fast. I hope you have many enjoyable hours with it.
For years Peter Caughey, owner of sprintec, would not let us lift his boats after he beached it. He didn't want anyone to see the strake setup as he set everything up in a wind tunnel. Helps to have the university of Canterbury at your side. Hard to buy a straight used sprint boat from NZ, we race hard.
I hope the sport is really appreciative of you joining becasue that’s around 5 MILLION NEW FANS that are going to be introduced to the sport overnight!
I see a jet sprint boat race course being built at the FF in the near future! I doubt its more than an acre of land needed, and not very technical to build, meaning relatively inexpensive! There is already an infrastructure in place at the FF with parking, food and bathrooms! Seems like a no brainer and an opportunity to grow the sport on the south east coast! Especially since it’s in Florida!

That's a nice boat. You showed full commitment on that run, and then the island pushed u out of shape. And u were a missile to the shore. Quite a spinout showing.
