If you put the pump above the outlets where the waters comes in and goes out it won’t leak, I’d have it so the hoses are slightly below the pump so it’s not fighting gravity, might add stress to the pump as well having to pump it up back into the pool like that
Does the pump vibrate or make any kind of noise? I set mine up and i plug it in the wall, and nothing happens, no noise no humming, vibrations... Nothing! Is this normal?

The pump was leaking because it needed to be primed. You can prime it by opening the valve slightly to release the air in the pump then tightening it back up. This allows water to enter the pump. Great video.
Pump was primed. And it Still leaked. I had to find a sweet spot so it wouldn't leak

Bought the twelve foot version last year for $117. The summer sun ate the inflatable ring. Figured that was my fault for not using a cover. Bought another one this year. Best price found was $245. The pool was the same but you would think charging more than twice as much they would be able to furnish the same size pump but the one that came with it was only half the size of the one I bought last year

Ok people when your pool reaches the level of those in and out valves then you go to your unplugged machine twist the top till you hear a sisssss sound. The water pressure can make the top jump off so be careful. This is called priming the water pump an after u do that then turn it on. You people who had leaks bcus u missed that step

mine was the same., leaky ..if you really tighten the top really tight it will stop, also someone told me to put petroleum jelly on the black rubber circle thingy..(gasket)???, n it helps to seal from leaking...worked for me
Having the same problem with the pump. I have it filled next day I come out and water is leaking all out of the pump. Going to try and plug it and also liked the idea someone posted about lifting the filter.
I started to do that too
I’ve had no issues with my pump. As long as the top and screw on the top is tightened properly.
You’ll have to get chemicals for it to keep it clean, shock it every week or two, and then run the pump (I’ve been running for a few hours at a time during the day when it’s not being used). I found that if I wanna check the filter, I have to put the clear lid over the one hose on the inside and the black cover on the other side so the pump doesn’t leak everywhere

So, do you only inflate the top ring and the water fills out the pool? Or are there two nozzles, i.e. two sections to fill with air???? No one ever seems to specify this.
It’s one and it’s a pain in the ass. Two inflatable rings makes a nice wall to hold the pool up while it fills
My pump still leaks even though I tighten the pump lid and when the lid is on and I try to turn on the filter and see if that makes a difference in the leaking, but it does nothing.

Maybe cap it off with the caps they supply while you filled. Any chlorine? I seen another video that showed nothing but said to put a chlorine tab in the filter

Open up your pump at the top and make sure the rubber ring seal is not crimped up..Fix that and it wont leak.

I removed the larger ring seal on top and put it into the groove which is on the top big cap piece on the inside then put the big cap back on... Presto. No leaks. The ring seal gasket should be in the groove on the cap not in the groove on the pump/filter itself. No leaks what so ever after i did that.
We just did what I think you said. I’ll let you know. So the white ring gasket, you put on the outside of the groove and pool?

When I turn it off it started linking again. Did it happen to you and if it did how did you fix the problem.
It happened to me also. I just elevated the pump on a small chair or table so it wouldn't leak when I turn it off.
While the pool was filling up, did the sides rise on their own or did you need to lift them up?
First, blow up the ring.
Then make sure the vinyl on the bottom of the pool is smooth.
No bunched up lines.
Pool will rise with the water.

How do you inflate the upper ring? Can’t get any air into ours
Inside the ring there's like a blocker you have to stick your pump into it and then it will fill up. Don't puncture the plastic though

Apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to the rubber gaskets, that might help with sealing.
Got the same pool. Came with no pump and missing the protruding hose connectors...so then they send me a 1000 Index pump...I have no hose connectors! Anyone else have issue?

Quick question just put up our 15 ft summer waves pool.Yard slopes a little bit away from house.Water is definitley higher on slope side.almost to middle of the top ring.Should i just take the pool down if it rains will it overflow and crush the sloped wall.Any help would be appreciated.

The pool is holding up. The inflatable ring loses air like once a week so you just give a few puffs and it goes back to stiffness.
The pump stoped leaking but I had to find like a sweet spot when I tightened it.
If you change out the filter it's a B***h to find the sweet spot again.
Just take the big ring seal out and put it into the big top cap there is a groove for it. No more leaks
The inflatable ring is very loose on one side, and firm on the other.
be careful, mine bent in and I came out to a water fall....I try n keep my ring full of air now
Hour and 10 mins to fill a 10ft pool? What mains are you using? Theres no way a normal tap will fill that quick. It would take about 4-6 hours easy
B4 turning filter on you have to prime it. So when the water level is ready, where he opened and it was leaking you turn that knob on top, you'll hear air n slight water coming out. Then close it back tight. It is now primed. Now you can turn the filter on...
How many chlorine tabs to add , would think the 2 inch size are to big ?

@@susiborgmann7921 remember the plastic "floating chlorinator" has notches on the bottom. you can release "less or more" chlorine depending on how many notches are visible (you can turn the bottom of the dispenser) . Also, many of those tablets are made to treat 10,000 gallons! so a tester is a good idea so you don't "over chlorinate"! :-)

I found a sweet spot that it doesn't leak. And I'm able to turn it off.
Also, the pool came with a white cap and a black plug. That goes inside the pool. Iv used those to stop water going to the hoses. I really hope this helps.

Have the same issues the fix for us is to use a small outside side table. when you set it on top higher than the pool outlet you can turn off whit no leaking.
Jus put the pump above water level and you will be good

NO. only 4-5 hours a day is fine. (longer is OK too) but NEVER on while using the pool

Turn the pump off and elevate the pump by putting it on a chair or stool. That should stop the leaking when you turn it off

not this pool, i would say a 15 footer.
Just got mine. Set up was fine until the inflatable top ring started leaking air. When I first pumped air in it nothing was going in. When I looked inside the inner plastic entrance to pump air was fully closed. I poked a little hole to set my air pump tip in. It inflated it. The next morning all the freakin air was gone. Any clue? I don’t see any tears or cuts in the plastic.
same on mine. i visited Walmart's website and on there the reviews said that happens. i just kept putting air in it every other week.
Sebastian Almeda that’s terrible smh. Well I called the number on the pool liner about it. Since I’m in the 90 day warranty range they are sending me a new pool, just the pool I keep the rest like the pump from my original purchase. We will see how it goes.
