    mines a bit bigger 16 by 42 ive found that the best way to keep it clean is a cover after use and i walk in a circle in order to bring all the dirt and what not to the center then skim its a great pool and that was a great video , happy pool days

    • @mrrachel124
      @mrrachel124 Месяц назад

      I totally agree with covering the pool after use. I also clean the bottom of the pool when we first get in and before I get out. All I used is chlorine tablets in a floating container for the whole summer and the water was perfect! No other chemicals. I learned that off of somebody else on RUclips. Tracie thank you for your videos. You have a very calming voice, you take your time explaining things and it’s so much easier than trying to understand the instructions that come with the pool! Keep those videos coming we appreciate you.

    That was great. How do you know when to shock your pool? I am putting my pool up for the first time do i swim first then at dawn chlorine it and cover it. Also do you have a solar heater pad?

    • @traciesplace
      @traciesplace  3 года назад

      You can shock when the dirt/algae starts building up or as a preventative which I do. Depending on how often the pool is used is what you go by. Don’t over chlorinate though, I did that once. It’s actually trial and error because everyone’s usage time is different, yes- I do use a solar pad. I notice that you have your pool over a tarp on top of rocks....
    I did the same thing and filled it and once I got in I found some spots that it feels very pointy from the rocks.. is the intex liner strong enough in your opinion to withstand it? Or should I drain the pool and try and level the rocks out better?
    Thank you!

    • @traciesplace
      @traciesplace  3 года назад +2

      Hi William! We could feel the rocks through the bottom but it wasn’t horrible- but it’s basically personal preference. The rocks didn’t puncture the bottom but next time I will cover with more than tarp or use something different 👍🏽✨

    • @buffalokay
      @buffalokay 3 месяца назад

      We used sand instead of rocks! It’s a bit of a pain to lay down/level out, but we didn’t have to worry about anything puncturing the liner!
