- VERY IMPORTANT: The two white caps and black plug are ONLY used when you go to clean the filter!! Store these in a safe place until needed. Instruction on that is close to end of this video.
If filter doesn't seem to be working, try turning the pump off then back on.
This is a detailed video of connecting the filter and hoses to the pool. You should already have your ground leveled and tarp down to protect from punctures.

I got a 16 ftX42 inch size..I love how the manufacturer video.. makes it look soooo easy..lol I should taped my ordeal. I did it all myself..for grandkids..I'm 60.. took me 2 days of filling and draining and moving around yard.. to get it even..I finally got it to an even spot and it's actually nice. The hardest part was getting the box open and stuff out of the box by yourself too.. it took me quite a while to figure filter out..I'm not the best at this stuff,,but I did it! This video is great.

@@Dearsummeriloveyou when you clean your filter. You put those 3 caps on to stop water flow. Once water flow is stopped. You can take top off pump and take out filter. You can replace filter or wash with high pressure

@@Beigebunnyhunny lol I had to fill 10 wheel barrels with dirt. I tied a string across the area just above the dirt and brought it all even with the string. The hardest part of it all is getting a level surface.
@@Beigebunnyhunny you can see pretty quick if the bottom isn't even with water. If uneven, It just gets worse as it gets higher

I took one look at the manual and it might as well have been written in another language 🤣 I tried on my own for an hour without RUclips, I gave up and found your video! Soooo much more informative than the manual and their manufactured “tutorial” Thank you and your friend for giving us step by step. Got it done in 20 mins!! I just wanted to say thank you for this video. We have a much larger size pool of the same brand, but these instructions were perfect as it was an identical setup. We had no clue how to set up the filter properly, but thanks to you we got the job done!!!

I was outside crying trying to figure this out. Found this video and made my life 1000% easier. Now my problem is all the water is going to one end of the pool😭
Im so sorry. Even just a little unlevel will make a big difference. It'd be best to just drain and get it level. If not that bad. You can let the kids swim a little while.

@@jayslife3350 it's just s calm flow. You can try to loosen screw top on filter till water comes out. If it does then it's fine. But it doesn't blast out like a Jacuzzi

You'll need to buy what is called a FLOATER. BUY THE SMALL ONE THATS FOR A SPA. You'll use about 1/4 Of a chlorine pill

@@tobert99you're very welcome. I haven't had it long enough to test it but they have little test kits for Ph balance if you want. I keep the pump on all the time. If water turns green, they have a pill you can SHOCK the water. It takes about 24 hours to clear it up.
Set this up from last year. Can’t remember how I set it up. Thank you! But now we’re discovering little leaks. This thing isn’t durable

I just want to add. The clear caps and black hat are on ONLY when you decide to clean the filter. This stops water flow just so you can perform that task. Don't leave caps on all the time.
The small cap on top needs to be loose until the filter fills up. If it doesn't fill up. Try turning it off and see if it fills then. After it fills, snug down cap.

As its filling up. Leave that little cap loose. Tighten when water comes out.

The water level in the pool needs to be above the intake and the water coming in. Then the outside filter can fill up with water. It needs to be plugged in and turned on. The top part needs to be screwed on but just enough that it doesn't go flying with water pressure. When water starts to come out. Then you tighten it down. Very important that the pool is level. Even if off a few inches will look like a foot off by the time it fills up

What chemicals do I put in? First time just set this exact one up last night we have well water pretty clear but still would like to treat.
I bought a floater for a spa because of the size. Then you get those chlorine pills for pools. You'll have to break them up to fit.
My pool makes an oval kind of goes lopsided when the water goes in it i don’t understand why but the kids and I still jump in 😂

You can tell right away if water covering the entire bottom or more on one side than the other. If more on one side? It just gets worse the higher it gets.
Is it a gravitational pull filter? Because I do not feel any suction or push on any of the vents 😢
First. Make sure the covers are not on. Loosen the top off the filter. Turn filter off till water starts to come out top. Then screw down tight and turn on filter.
You only put covers on when ready to clean filter
I’m looking to install an aerator for this pool. Do you know what size would fit the return jet?

I think you need to measure to get the right size. I don't know about aerators. I just knew how to put filter lines on :) i tried but it was too hard to figure out. Might be easier for you to call someone who sells them to get the size

Our pool always topples to one side and all the water pours out in seconds. We literally have to hold up the side of the pool when in it to avoid it emptying out. So frustrating.
I know what you mean. You have to get it as level as possible. Just add more dirt on that side where it spills. I had to add like 10 wheel barrels full to get mine level.

No. It's not. You need to tighten it down more. Not the small knob at top but the one where filter is located.

@@JohnCargile-vg6fk the numbers do blink and count down from 10 hours to zero. Or you can set it to just run a few hours. If you don't hear it running. Loosen the small knob on top. Don't remove. And when water starts coming out of it. Tighten it back down. If water does not come out. Try turning the filter off or on till it does come out the top.

No!
When you are going to CLEAN the filter. You put the black cap in and ON TOP OF THAT you screw a white cap over it. And you put a white cap over the other one. ONLY WHEN YOU CLEAN FILTER. Otherwise, you store them away until you need them.

@@alwayzsmilin5407 make sure it's level. Make sure you inflated the top rim. They raise as you fill with water. The bottom of pool needs to be smooth and no wrinkles. Just keep filling with water

I am not sure if my filter is working do I take off all the caps in the inside of the pool at all times?
Those caps are not to stay on the pool. You only put them on when cleaning the filter
If filter still isn't working. Loosen the small knob on the pump. When you see water start to come out, then tighten down the knob. If water does not come out. Try turning the pump off then turn back on.

Loosen the knob on top and turn pump off. Wait till water comes out the top and then tighten screw. Let me know if that worked for you

The main reason for my video was because it was impossible to follow the instructions that came with pool regarding connection of the filter and hoses. It's up to you to make sure it's level and nothing sharp under it etc

I hope you figured it out because I'm just now seeing your comment. If you watch the very end of the video, it shows where the hoses go. Yes, there are 3 hoses. Hope that helps
When first plugging it in and putting the desired time does it stay blinking or do I press or hold a button to set that time?
I think so. The numbers do as they count down. You just press yellow button for desired time. You should hear it running

@@JohnCargile-vg6fk on mine the top light needs to be green if not press the reset button (should be second button from the top) then set your desired time and just leave it be. The only red should be the timer and it doesn’t matter if it’s blinking or not.
My neighbor clogged the filter hose many times, this time was the worst...I hear him holler so I says do you need anything he yells yeah my pools fikter hose is all wrapped up good so I runs down he sounded like he was tearing up something vicious so I get down there and I see him messin with the pool looked like he was holding something heavy...I ask wtf you doin he says ain't doing nothin the pool done has me stuck, his little prick was jammed all the way in the intake line of the pool filter....I walked away hearin him holler for about a half hour after that I assume he softend up an pulled it out
