    When doing the join as you go method, wouldn’t it be better if you also slip stitch in between the clusters of five
    double crochets that run along the sides? That way you will have the sides connected by three points and you don’t have a big gap in between the corners. I hope you understood my explanation. It’s just my humble opinion. I have done it like that before.

      I totally agree with you. When I use small thread, I feel like it looks fine and I can get away without a big gap. But for bigger yarn, I would do the same as what you said above. Thank you for the great comment, I will have to do another video explaining that in more detail.
