Love how Gorillaz is still around and always kept there style and vibe an kept there characters stories going for years i remember listening them since Demon Days back when i was in highschool as a freshman
I'm writing this more as a rant, and I don't want to make myself look poor or vulnerable. But like that, Gorillaz literally changed my life, I suffered from depression and I still suffer from anxiety and Gorillaz was like a breath of air for me. Every time I was locked up and alone in my room, I was sad for some reason, I would put on Dare or Plastic Beach to play on an old music player, because I didn't even want to have a cell phone due to the medication and feeling unwell. And when I listened to his simple but incredible songs, I felt good, in an inexplicable way. Today I still suffer from severe anxiety, but Gorillaz helps me with some crises from time to time with their upbeat or calming music. What I meant by all of this is that something considered small or normal can positively improve someone's life. I live in Brazil, and I'm very proud of everything Gorillaz has become to date, as it's particularly my favorite band, and I'll always remember everything it did in my life. Anyway, I will be eternally grateful for this, and perhaps the creator of Gorillaz doesn't even know the good his art does for people. :3
Does anyone know when concerts tickets will start to sell? Ik it's a long way away but I'm really keen on going to a concert as I'm a fairly new Gorillaz fan and I couldn't go to their 2023 concerts

Way before gorillaz first album, in 1998 I got my PlayStation and there was this intro soundtrack on FIFA game by British band BLUR- song2 that I couldn’t stop listening, the singer was Damon Albarn and because I knew that he was main member of gorillaz I decided to listen to their music. Now I’m 38 years old about to become 39 😅 married to a wonderful woman, father of 3 wonderful kids, basically I grew up lessening to gorillaz and is cool to see my kids lessening gorillaz songs also being part of their life and having a good taste of music. Just hope there is more people out there sharing good music with their kids

I was 5 when I first heard Gorillaz which was Clint Eastwood, I recently came back and the amount of songs, even the lesser known ones I'm just obessed with and the charaters along with their stories, Damon has truly made a one of a kind.
I cannot describe what this song makes me feel. Last year when it was released I listened to it while being an intern at a design studio, at the time it made me think about my teenage years. Now I've graduated and truly need to step out into the adult world, I find myself listening to this again..
Something really special about songs like this from gorillaz, the pretty songs always feel so good, and feel like they comfort the soul. Basically this group and the chili peppers that do those pretty sounding songs sometimes that i just cant stop listening to.

I was 5 when I first heard Gorillaz which was Clint Eastwood, I recently came back and the amount of songs, even the lesser known ones I'm just obessed with and the charaters along with their stories, Damon has truly made a one of a kind.
