If what these scientists are saying are true (that the virus was funded) then they would do their best to create a vaccine for it and stop whatever pandemic is going on. Dr Fauci would recommend taking the vaccine NOT because of some evil plan, but because the more lives there are saved, the stronger his case becomes so that he won't be jailed. Maybe you can't trust the information about the origins of the virus in the media, but you can damn sure trust the other scientists who are just trying to fix this damn situation.

There's an opera-- Puccini's last opera-- which is very challenging and not performed all that often, except by the really top-level companies, because it's so difficult for the singers. Puccini never finished it, but other lesser composers have composed endings. It's called Turandot and it is set in ancient Peking, or rather, in Puccini's fantasy of what ancient Peking was like.
Now, Turandot was experiencing renewed popularity early in 2020; it was a big fad in the opera world. The Met was scheduled to do it in April, and several other opera companies like San Francisco Opera and Chicago Lyric Opera were gonna do it, and even the "little-grand-opera" companies like Regina Opera in Brooklyn and West Bay Opera in Palo Alto -- companies which cast young, still-unknown singers to give them a start on their careers, and which perform in small venues for audiences of fewer than 150 people, were getting ready to do it.
It was also trendy in Europe. (These trends come and go.)
This opera Turandot is very offensive to Chinese nationalists, because it depicts the Chinese people as superstitious, bloodthirsty barbarians ruled by a sadistic tyrant. But because of COVID-19, the companies had to cancel their performances. This was obviously what the Chinese government was hoping to accomplish by unleashing the virus at that particular time-- to prevent Turandot from being performed in Europe and USA.
That is cui bono in this case.

These men are:
Dr. Brett Giroir - American pediatrician and four-star admiral in the U.S. Public Health Service
Dr. Steven Quay - a doctor who owns a company.
Dr. Richard Muller an astrophysicist
Dr. David Asher - a senior fellow here at the Hudson Institute
Not one of these men are experts in virology, immunology, or epidemiology. Only David Quay is a medical doctor, and his opinion is what you should listen to before the other three.
Instead of listening to non-experts chosen for political purposes, listen to actual scientists.

Jim Jordan is twisting that one scientist told Dr. Fauci that "some of the features look engineered." What Jim Jordan is *not* telling people is a great many other scientists told Dr. Fauci that, while unusual, the small region that is more unusual could have occurred naturally.
By ommitting that information, which he must have, Jim Jordan is telling a lie of ommission.
Dr. Fauci formed the *opinion* that *most* scientists who are *actual* experts on the subject have reached, which is that the virus is *most* *likely* a natural mutation that occurred in nature and was transferred by an animal.
He did not say that was definitely the case, it's what he, and most other scientists, expect.
Thus, the representation of the sentence, "We all find the genome inconsistent with evoluationary theory" is that it's an unusual accident, *not* necessarily some nefarious scheme.
Almost every knowledgable scientist in the world disagrees with Dr. Richard Muller, the astrophysicist's assertion that the virus is an engineered bioweapon. There are a few who think that it's most likely engineered, and they're in a minority, however, even most of them say there's not way to know that's the case. So, Richard Muller's definite statement is highly questionable. There isn't evidence to support it definitely is the case.
And, again, *most* scientists currently doubt that.
