Hi Linda! Thanks for the question! The maple is old and seasoned, but not antique like the spruce.

Did you apply the albumina (or glue and water) to the ribs before you added the tea carbonate to the ribs?
Good question! I do not apply albumina on maples. I find it makes the flames foggy . From my experience 😊
