This is a design that I believe is going to cross over a few different categories and appeal to a wide audience. The Nimbus W11 will sleep the whole family, she'll belt along at over 40kts and she'll comfortably entertain a large group for the day while carrying water toys with ease.
This is a boat that lens itself to solo operation with minimal experience and she transforms into a very comfortable platform when at rest.
If you had a larger sports yacht, sports cruiser or SUV style vessel in mind then this W11 is worthy of your attention because it might just be a cheaper and better alternative depending on the mission you had in mind for the next boat.
It's not perfect and that beautiful big swim platform out the back does change the centre of gravity a bit. But depending on what you need I can see this W11 coming out on top in a lot of situations.
    Enjoy

If you are attracted to this boat's quality and steady performance, I recommend you also view Dan's review of the W9, done somewhere in France as I recall. With the 'ease of use' clears that can quickly close up the cockpit area, it's a bit like two boats in one....and the W9 is quite a bit more affordable. Dan, you probably noticed your mike was cutting out when you would turn your head so we did miss a little bit of your commentary on both reviews. Thanks for the ride!

He says he gave up his Sales gig ….. having watched several vlogs, I would say he is now an “unpaid” Sales guy.
      Quite the seller, this one.

Great stuff Dan, good to see 3 versions on passage together.
Im probably ol' skool, but it would take a lot to get me to swap the C11 for the W 👍

Depends on the climate and waters where one will be using it, I would think. Likely lots of C buyers up in Nordic waters & NW USA.

Dan the Man.. love your work bro.. need to see you take an NZ built "Makaira gen 3" out in massive swell. Now that's a real blue water craft 🤙

I would be very keen to test some Kiwi boats out in massive swells. Super keen to do more in NZ in general. Lots of smart boat builders over there

@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife oh yeah!! How can we organise it bro? Get a bunch of mates to email Makaira boats asking them to invite you over all expenses paid?

Hey I hope you don't mind Dan the Man.. but I've emailed Makaira boats and Surtees boats in NZ and mentioned your channel.. really am hoping to see you take their respective flagships out in some big big chop.. being aluminium Bluewater munchers.. would be great to see a non biased actual real world big chop blue water test in comparison bro. Keeping my fingers crossed some kind of NZ trip can take shape 🤙

I think yamaha or Suzuki would be better. Mercury isnt known for its reliability and that extra power would rarely be used

So Mercury used to be quite unreliable yes but in the last decade I’d say they have completely turned that around since the Optimax days. I also stuck with Yamaha back in the day for reliability but Mercs are worthwhile considering these days in my opinion
