When I see these now, it makes me happy, also sad and mad cos as a kid in the 80’s, I had 2 of These castles, MINT, and My mom whenever she was mad or felt like she wanted to take out her anger on 7 year old me, she would break all my stuff, ALL My Stuff. Toys, clothes, video games, all of it, but these are awesome, enjoy them brother🫡
Vintage has more pronounced features, Origins is more symmetrical, I got a near complete vintage long ago, I'll eventually get the Origins, you got an okay deal for 20 bucks, but getting the Jaw-Bridge would be the best thing to try finding, Complete the face of Grayskull.
The original Grayskull is better in my opinion, and I can't tell you what to do, but I wouldn't try painting it, you will ruin its collectible value. if I where you, I would slowly try and collect,as finances allow the pieces you need to complete your Grayskull, from ebay ,might be easiest except for the tiny mini gun. as well as the cardboard pieces, I would not break the bank for that, and your right all the vintage Grayskulls,where spray painted uniquely. Also if you do finally complete your vintage grayskull. be careful the shelves with the throne room, and the trapdoor. all of which don't seem to be designed, for young children in mind.they will break I can tell you from personal experience. I've gone through a five Grayskulls as a child.
