  • Hey everyone! In this video I'm talking about how to fix one of the many image-related issues when you run a Page Speed Insights or Google Lighthouse audit on your Webflow site.
And that's 'Serve images in next-gen formats'.
Images are one of the asset types that impact your Webflow page speed. If an image's size is big, it will take longer for people that have a slow 4G internet to open up your site.
I know that Webflow has it's very own 'Compress' feature, however I wanted to provide my way of converting + compressing a JPG/PNG image into WEBP.
🍅 Here's the tool I am showing in the video:

This episode is part of 'Page Speed Insights' course which goes through all the Web Vitals issues and show how to fix them.
