Dimash is a phenomenon, he started singing lessons and 5 when it was found he has perfect pitch. He is university educated with degrees in classical opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has just (18th June 2020) completed his Masters specialising in Composition, and receiving his Masters degree with Honours, having achieved the maximum score of 100%. His range is over 6 octaves (7 now) but Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn but again he is doing well with it. In this performance he was 22 and in a competition for professional singers (not his parents) in China he was invited as a wildcard and after this one song was catapulted to stardom and is now a pop superstar in China. He is now also famous in Russia mainly for his neo classical work with Igor Krutoy and many of those works are very operatic. His vocals range from a rich bass baritone through to an extremely high soprano and his whistle register has hit a D8 for 5 seconds with vibrato. He is on a solo world tour tight now and in his concerts he sings for 3 to 4 hours with an eclectic mix of styles. He is from a very musical family both parents and his sister sing, mother is a soprano. Dimash was offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far, but I suspect world domination will soon come his way. He is a multi instrumentalist too and is very competent with 8 instruments but can play just about anything. He is 26 now, and is mostly known as a live performer, he has released a triple platinum album in China though. It has been recognised that his high notes are not whistle, but head voice, Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does its spectacular like everything else about him. He has billions of fans worldwide and I am definitely one of them, and he calls us his Dears, as we are all as dear to him as his family, and he means it, he knows who helped to make him famous. He is a softly spoken, polite, elegant and very humble respectful young man. He deserves every bit of the success he is having, he has worked very hard for the past 20 plus years and now his dreams as a young 5 year old are coming true. There is an interview he did for BBC World Service in 2018 where the interviewer showed a drawing he did when he was 5 of him singing on a big stage with microphones, speakers and his beloved music cassettes showing his desire to be where he is now. His recent sellout world tour has been postponed due to the covid-19 epidemic but will restart when its safe to do so. He has concerts lined up in Dusseldorf, Prague and Minsk there will be others. I've been watching all the react videos that I can ever see on Dimash, also known as the Voice of Kazakhstan. Don't feel bad--most people in the Western world are just learning about him. He's from Kazakhstan---formerly part of Russia, till they won their freedom, only about 30 years ago. Dimash was born with perfect pitch, and a passion for singing even in infancy. He started in formal Music Academy at the age of 5. From that day to this, he has trained an extra 3 hours, EVERY day, honing his natural ability, and becoming better with every passing year. He now is 26 and stands 6'3"tall. To hear more of his range, try listening to "Ogni Pietra," which was composed specifically for Dimash's abilities. Also, try "Sinful Passions," where he does a 22 second run on one breath: and "Opera 2" (which is not an opera, but very entertaining.) OH, I mustn't forget: Besides being such a magnificent singer, he is one of the very nicest people one could ever hope to meet. He's devoted to his parents and brother and sister (plus grandparents); he's kind, thoughtful, honest, hard-working and never complaining. He has done concerts all over Eastern Europe as well as Germany and England. And he did his first solo concert in the U.S. last winter, to a sold-out audience. This was the first song he sang in I am singer competition in China. He entered as an unknown . The day after he needed body guards to go outside. He is from Kazakhstan and is the best singer in the world. He sings all genres of music and was offered a place with an opera company but turned it down to do his own style of music. He’s been singing since the age of 5, sings in 12 languages, speaks Kazakh and Russian and learning English and Mandarin. He comes from a close musical family and his mother is an opera singer. He also plays multiple instruments and has various music degrees. Talented eh? 😍 I nearly forgot .... he’s the nicest, most humblest person ever. ♥️

Dimash was born with perfect pitch, and a passion for singing even in infancy. He started in formal Music Academy at the age of 5. From that day to this, he has trained an extra 3 hours, EVERY day, honing his natural ability, and becoming better with every passing year. He now is 26 and stands 6'3"tall. To hear more of his range, try listening to "Ogni Pietra," which was composed specifically for Dimash's abilities. Also, try "Sinful Passions," where he does a 22 second run on one breath: and "Opera 2" (which is not an opera, but very entertaining.)
OH, I mustn't forget: Besides being such a magnificent singer, he is one of the very nicest people one could ever hope to meet. He's devoted to his parents and brother and sister (plus grandparents); he's kind, thoughtful, honest, hard-working and never complaining. He has done concerts all over Eastern Europe as well as Germany and England. And he did his first solo concert in the U.S. last winter, to a sold-out audience. (When he returns to U.S. after the pandemic, my son is going to take me to his first return concert.) He is intensely loved by his several million fans, who he calls his "Dears," because he sincerely cares so deeply for us. I must say, it seems like he can do almost ANYTHING with that voice of his. At his home, he will walk around singing without even a microphone, and will pick up a small child---cousin or family friend--and sing to them. And they love it.

beautiful Lady, Dimash from Kazakhstan, he phenomenon takes 6 octaves and 5 semitones, as well as the D8 note, which is not on the piano. He plays 8 instruments, the piano to perfection. He writes music, there are songs that he performs himself, he was engaged in swimming and Tjkwondo, from this his breathing is impeccable, in one song he pulled a note for about 19 seconds, and recently he shot a video in which he was also a director.

На русском он говорит скованно, употребляет стандартные фразы. В сравнении эта разница сильно чувствуется.

This was the first song he sang in I am singer competition in China. He entered as an unknown . The day after he needed body guards to go outside. He is from Kazakhstan and is the best singer in the world. He sings all genres of music and was offered a place with an opera company but turned it down to do his own style of music. He’s been singing since the age of 5, sings in 12 languages, speaks Kazakh and Russian and learning English and Mandarin. He comes from a close musical family and his mother is an opera singer. He also plays multiple instruments and has various music degrees. Talented eh? 😍 I nearly forgot .... he’s the nicest, most humblest person ever. ♥️
