  • Downstream-of-gene (DoG) RNAs are the RNAs transcribed continuously beyond the host gene transcription termination sites. They occur in ~10% protein coding genes in the cells, with typical sizes between 5~200 kb. Due to their extended lengths, some DoGs can further produce DoG-derived chimera RNAs and circular RNAs. DoG RNAs have many unique properties and important biological functions. They are often associated with cancers and diseases.
    This webinar will cover:
    • What DoG RNAs are
    • DoG RNA Biogenesis
    • DoG-derived chimera RNAs and circular RNAs
    • DoG functions and diseases
    • DoG RNA profiling and research roadmap ahead
