I have a physical disability and live in a rehab facility due to needing some assistance in daily living. After about a year of living here and going through the winter season I realized that I wasn’t getting as much fresh fruits and raw veg as my diet really requires being paraplegic so I bought one of those magic bullets or small blender deals and started making green shakes. It really helps in my situation where my diet requires high protein and veg and fruits to keep things moving and I’d much rather get all of that in a shake rather than having to eat a full plate.
Awww, Great To See You Guys Again! Happy New Year!! Hi Hudsyn, How Are You, Girl?! How Are You Seitz Family?! Hope You're All Doing Well!! God Bless You! 💜🙂💐🙏
Really nice to see you back. I have been watching you since the beginning. You and Casey are good parents to both your children. Has Casey finished her book?
Love the video! My daughter is also on a blended diet and it made a huge difference when we transitioned her. We use the blendtec and it’s amazing! I’ve never thought about making batches of her food and freezing them. I just blend her whatever we eat each day.
Hi Dan welcome back we missed you and your whole family Glad your blogging again How was your Christmas and your New Year’s my Christmas and New Year’s was very good very nice
Where do you guys buy the shakeology powder from? Also is it only in packet form, or can you get it in a can? I love these videos, my motility is extremely sluggish and I’ve been looking for a way to speed things up.
We get it through Beachbody, but we're currently searching for some alternatives. Leaning towards one we've found at a Sprout's,( it's like a Whole Foods) or one they have at Costco. www.teambeachbody.com/shop/us/d/vanilla-whey-shakeology-SHKVanilla www.instacart.com/store/items/item_767577993 www.costco.com/.product.100393228.html
Hi, Dan! I was just wondering, are those blends gluten free? I have a disabled son who has a sensitivity to wheat and corn. Thank you for answering my question.
if i may ask, how many calories would you say her intake is a day? like do you all have an issue with maintaining weight/ensuring she’s not in a calorie deficit w/ this type of feeding?
She's getting right around 1000 calories a day and because we worked with a nutritionist we know she's getting her nutrient needs met too. Her weight is tracking just right. She's currently right at 70lbs.
A feeding tube is a way to get nutrition in to a person that can't eat by mouth, Tbh i do not have a feeding tube but i am a medical nerd i love learning about anything medical
No formula at all. Even when she was on the ketogenic diet (to help control seizures) we tried the formula for the first year and she had so much vomiting. We moved over to blending her keto diet and it made a huge difference, but still there was quite a bit of reflux, plus the keto diet long term comes with it's own side effects, including osteoporosis, which she now has. So we changed over to her current diet and it has all but eliminated her reflux (she still has some occasionally but it's minor and vomiting only happens once or twice a month) plus she just seems healthier and happier overall.
Yay, I'm so glad to see you guys are back, because I missed you and your kids.
Welcome back yay
Happy Valentine's Day Seitz Family!! Hello Hudsyn!! 🌈🌹💜💖

They ARE gluten free! However in an upcoming recipe there IS corn, but you could substitute something else!
