@dubesinhower sorry I've fallen off in the comments... Life is nuts for a while, but that's how it goes. I still catch these weekly, though, so once again, thank you for making them--I appreciate it!
I sub RetroRGB Patreon almost entirely because of the weekly q&a that Bob does, and being able to ask questions on projects. I guess, what I mean to say, if you had a Patreon something like Bob's q&a would probably help keep subscribers around.
PS2 digital will easily be the biggest seller for Pixel FX. The PS2 is a huge console. However, the fidelity of the system is rather lackluster, so I'm curious how much PS2d will improve things. Between AVE-HDMI and N64digital, I spent way too much money Friday. Edit: one more thing. The raspberry Pi Pico is an amazingly versatile little board. Super cool.
I think your right in assuming PS2 may be the biggest release for them for long term if it catches on for alot of owners of a PS2, why use a PS3 phat with the risks when you can go back to the tons of actual PS2 hardware? PS2 has amazing component out, but it does have some fuzziness that could be done without from the fact of being analog. The main issue with PS2 is the common 480i on almost everything, dealing with that on the hardware level and resolution changes with just a simple hdmi output is the real benefit of the product in my eyes.
Man, I love to see what the Pico is doing to the modding scene. Have you heard about Picostation for the PS1? It's in early stages with a small crew... but it looks promising.
Thank you for making this video. PixelFX is also going to make HDMI mod kit line up to digitize retro console and combine that with their infinite switch. Personally, I’d wait for PixelFX’s lineup of products.
I think a patreon is not a bad idea especially knowing that you are targeting a niche audience, so some support through patreon might do better than the views at the moment.
The issue with dan’s flex cables is that they’re very low quality. They’re easy to destroy if you apply too much heat for a short period of time, making you order a new one from him for a small fortune.
Yes open a Patreon, no matter what people that want to be supporting you in any sense of the way they will do it also your news videos are awesome but with more video support for making the mods it self will be a lot of help.
Open a Patreon, you have nothing to lose really. As long as it's not overly emphasised as I'm sure you understand. Take leave from videogame esoterica or macho nacho productions to let people know respectfully and then carry on. That is of course if YT is something you want to pursue seriously. If it's a casual hobby and in your eyes will probably always stay that way then maybe keep it as such with no Patreon.
the wii hdmi mod as of this moment is sold out, and due to the massive amount of orders they are having trouble keeping up and shipping them out. just be patient
It's insane to see how many mods are starting to use a raspberry pi!
Jaredo san 😃
Was not expecting Wynona's Big Brown Beaver to make an appearance 😂
HDMI version of the Wii looks better to me. Nice and sharp, rather than blurry.
Where?
Haha Primus sucks
Love Primus.
@@dubesinhowersorry, but you get the first downvote I've ever had to give you! Lol
Thank you for the news. Have a great week.

Excellent work. Thank You.
The fire pulses, the component capture was taken when it was not lit. If you watch the original video you can see the HDMI version looks wonderful
I would consider sending some dollars your way. Your are the frontier of retro tech in my opinion. I will need you when the PS2 Digital goes live 😁👍.

Yeah, why not? I’m all up for a retro-based Patreon!

Shouldn't be too hard? I remember seeing someone who did an arduino based ps1 modchip so it's probably not far off :)
@@Cal-TwentyNine That's awesome, there's some real talented people out there. Such a fun time to be a part of it all!

Kbeckman is the guy making the N64 pico cart.
Primus 🥂nice!
I hope this Turbo Everdrive Pro will get a stereo addon so that also the PCE Duos can enjoy stereo sound with this Everdrive.
Kbeckmann was one of the guys who pirated the G&W

I've never seen anyone that's offended by Patreon. If you need to do it, then do it.
