Great review. It convinced me to do a test drive and I bought one the next week. The UX 250 h checks all the boxes, especially for folks who don't need to carry a lot of people or gear. To me, the biggest advantages are the safety features, use of regular gas, excellent MPG, wireless charger, and wireless Apple Play. Another bonus: A free app you for your phone that has a bunch of nice features, including a start button. You can stand inside your house and and start the car from the app. It also has a "find" button, which shows you on a map exactly where you parked the car! No more wandering around the airport parking lot! Thanks for a great video. Now, go buy yourself a UX 250. You'll love it.
I bought a 2023 and I love it. Pros: -cheap to fill $45 to fill in Toronto, Canada @1.38 per/Litre. -comfortable & easy to drive -reasonably priced considering it’s a high quality vehicle CONS: -Battery degradation in the winter Just under 500kms in the winter vs 650kms in the summer per tank -lacking power (wish it had more) -loud engine -rear legroom is minimal, but tolerable. -wish power trunk was standard in Canada for premium package & f sport design. Only available in luxury & f sport 2 trim. Overall, I don’t think there is a better car you can buy for price. I look forward to driving it everyday and truly do love the car. I highly recommend, but wait for 2025, they use new hybrid powertrain & now has electronic auto shifter amongst other things. Hope this somewhat helps anyone in the market to buy a UX
Hi yea i bought a 2024 as well and was upset because i just bought it and realized the mpg wasn’t good during the winter so far. I even pumped 93 to see if it would make a difference but it never did. I hope it gives me 650 in the summer . I bought it brand new and love it . Got the f sport 2
@@michealal1414 no need to put 93 octane. If the car doesn’t require, don’t put that in. It won’t be more efficient. Toyotas typically have loud engines, but let’s not forget how reliable they are. I think for Lexus, it’s a good buy, but I’ve compared all packages and the f-sport design gives you the most value. Of course all the other options are great, but if you want a premium car at a reasonable price that’s the way to go! Love talking to other UX owners!
After too many years driving what in the end was 20 year old Nissan Almera, I picked up an approved, low mileage, 2020 UX F-Sport and absolutely love it. Using it too commute from home to the train station (yes I'm in the UK) 20 miles away, along country roads and over some decent hills I get an average of 49 mpg. I'll admit I looked at the Volvo XC40, which in some ways is more practical, but the UX just appealed a deal more. Giving my father, who does own an XC40, a lift today he commented on how comfortable it was! PS got to agree on the HUD. Never had one before but with it I hardly look at the dash at all :)
I have this car absolutely love it. I believe it was intended for ppl that live in cities. It doesn’t have as much pickup as other cars I’ve owned. But living downtown speed isn’t an everyday need for me. The size is a major plus, able to maneuver in and out of small spaces.
I’m a Cadillac lover, but Lexus has been catching my eye with their very nice design touches, venerable reliability and driver focused construction at a great price. I’m most likely going to purchase a UX when I graduate! Thanks so much for this review, Gold! Keep doing what you do please! 🖤
hey gold pony I love the content video,, I ve been having trouble tryna find a video on a Lexus like this, but I love the sound of the car in reverse. that smooth reverse humming whistle noise from the car. could u record like a sound effect of it. Im a music producer and im struggling to find a nice Lexus humming noise.
This Lexus vehicle caught my eye and thought that the lease price would be comparable to a Toyota Corolla Cross XSE hybrid. However, as bland as the Cross's interior appears, I find the Lexus dash layout to be ugly and you have to go F Sport ($45000!?) to get the better bells and whistles. Oh well, guess I'm too much "middle class" for Lexus and will stick with Toyota instead!
Agreed! 👍🏾In 2025, Toyota will be upgrading the UX250H with the Prius' drivetrain and will be a UH300. Hopefully that will be the power boost it needs.

A great car that will give you years of worry-free service. Thanks for the review.

Just curious, how is the new electronic auto shifter better?

How bad is the engine color? I'm hoping to get a steal on the 2024 models but the loud engine everyone reported, may not be worth the savings
@@ray88ray I wouldn’t say it’s as good as a traditional auto shifter, but it’s newer in tech.

I’ve got a 2025 UX300h coming end of April! I cannot wait 😎
Thanks for the excellent review.
Insane vehicle dude.
Amazing review bro.

I only got 35-37mpg on my 2024 premium model under normal driving . Dealer couldn’t find any mechanical issue.
My Lexus UX250h is doing 53 MPG summer and 47 MPG winter on E10.
That's great MPG! Can you share your driving tips?
Great great review! As a result, I am going to look into purchasing this Lexus UX.
Thank you for all the details!

Love it. SOLD!
Can u do a gear lever shift test. You can manumatucally shift there right?
How does the 2024 UX250h compare with the 2024 Toyota Venza?
Its smaller. This is more comparable to a Prius.
I wish I went with the venza rather than my UX. The UX has no trunk space lol
@@southbayengineered6905 TY for the FYI! Only thing is that Toyota has opted to discontinue the Venza after 2024.
You sound like a 1970's DJ

My ears hurt with the road noise.😂
Very nice. However, very slow.

Depends on what you’re coming from. I love the responsiveness over my old 2012 CT, this is PLENTY of power when driving on public roads.
How sad they changed the beautiful analogue Lexus clock (my 2021 UX do have) for an ugly volume knob in the new design.
가격 좀 낮춰주시면 너무 좋겠어요 😂
