  • Are you wondering wether to get Denoise AI or Sharpen AI for your wildlife photos? Then, this video is for you. I will show the specific benefits of using both apps while editing a photo from a red squirrel. Removing noise and add sharpness with Denoise AI. And using Sharpen AI I will remove motion blur from specific places to perfect this photo. Watch the entire video as I will be giving my personal techniques I use daily editing my own wildlife photos. Although I will be using Affinity Photo, the same techniques can be used in Photoshop or any other photo editor.

    For enlarging to prints sizes of 20 in. x 30 in. to 40 in. x 60 in. and larger, would you use Sharpen AI before resizing, or after, or both?

    to be honest, the last update to sharpen AI realy made it alot less user friendly in my opinion.... what's your opinion?

    • @weylintracking-worldwide
      @weylintracking-worldwide  3 года назад +1

      I often do not like the auto choice for the mode, and I find myself lowering the amount of sharpening a lot. But with some tweaking I can produce good results.

    Unfortunately, what you forgot to mention was that Affinity Photo is literally like a open source software program that you get charged for. If it works it is very good but if you go to the Affinity Photo Forum you will find pages upon pages of bugs and glitches. Now many of these are eventually solved through a range of workarounds and if you are good to spend hours of your time trying to get the software to work on your computer, well then you'll be fine. One problem appears to be that it cannot recognise an Canon EF 100-400 Mk2 lens, I mean that has been out over 5 years!
    So that might mean people need to find a different photo editor to work with Topaz.

      I experience not much problems, and I use it at a daily basis... But if there is something you use and it is causing problems for you then I understand it can be very frustrating.
