Hi James. As always, thanks so much. I have two issues with replenishing stock. Not sure if you've seen them: 1. Between the two of us (me and my business partner), printing the barcodes seems to be a nightmare, but maybe I'm over thinking it. Do you know if it is okay if only the actual barcode is in the label? Sometime the products name at the top of the label gets cut off. Not sure if its a problem with our printer. Have you heard of or experienced this issue yourself. Any ideas? 2. I am unable to download the shipping note in a usable format. i know this is an issue with my laptop / windows, have you heard of any quick fixes for this? Hey, yes I do know about this problem. When you print the labels you need to change your printer settings to 'Fit to paper'. I believe this corrects the problem you are having. This setting will probably be under 'Scale' (It is on my mac)
Hi James, I’m new to this and wondering if it’s profitable for me to sell on takealot, do I fulfill orders by sending lead time orders to takealot DCs - if I’m based in PE would I need to use a courier to ship my product to Cape Town/ Durban etc?? Is it cheaper to have “in stock” in this scenario as the courier ? costs add up
Hey, yes you will need to send orders to each of the DC so its more cost effective to send stock of your best performing product to each DC to be sold instock.
