Closest to the live album show I can find. The best warrant lineup for sure
agreed....this lineup kicked serious ass.
Like Anti-Murphy below...I was at that great crowded 1996 weeknight Warrant show at the Birch Hill Nightclub in Old Bridge, New Jersey as well...
I saw a lot of shows there including Dokken and Ratt in the 90s. I remember a girl going on the stage that night and telling Jani "she wanted to marry him" Ha Ha!!!... I was amazed how good the new songs were on that "Family Picnic" CD with the new drummer and guitar player.
From Wikipedia:
"Birch Hill Nightclub was a music venue and nightclub in Old Bridge Township, New Jersey. The venue ran into trouble in 2000 after an accidental drowning and drug raids. Birch Hill was sold in 2003 and is now a housing development. Many big-name bands played the venue, including Dio, Scorpions, Blue Öyster Cult, Cheap Trick, UFO, Iron Maiden, Rainbow and Slayer."
The day before the day I was born. Crazy...
AMAZING ARTIST ~ Still Need U.......
was always bummed they never played anywhere i lived during this time period. bobby borg was a great drummer...
Sorry mate couldn't fit all the equipment in your front room...no cars or horse and carts where you live?
I saw them on this tour in Little Rock, AR. This brings back a ton of memories. Thanks!
Drove from Hot Springs to that show....great night.
I honestly think they're playing better here than in the arena's or when they were in their "prime".
No
Bobby Borg was a solid drummer!
Love your thumbnail.
You know Deville did the guitar track for Cherry Pie right ?
Glamprince89 Rockking77 yup
He’s a very good drummer. Beats the heck out of the drums! My one knock against him is that he over drums a little bit.
Borg was a beast back when he was in Warrant…
1st seen warrant in 1997 when they were supporting Belly to Belly in a small club in NJ. Awesome show and the new songs were excellent!
Birch Hill Nightclub in Old Bridge, New Jersey...That was a great night...
@@mr.djcooncoon8196 - Correct on the venue and yes, they kicked ass!!
This is awesome... I was there in the front row.
I thought Dog Eat Dog was their best CD by far! I can't believe it was like 30 years ago?
Drummer is a beast!
Bobby borg
Drummer frickin' rocks!
Once again Video Vault you have made me a very happy woman, thank you. Do you record all these concerts yourself or do you get them from other sources? If you were at all these concerts you are one lucky person and I am very envious. Keep up the good work x
A little bit of both.
@@TheVideoVault Wow, lucky you, keep em coming x
This show has circulated for over 2 decades.
Rick Stier from Kingdom Come! rad.
I was in the middle of a panic attack watching this trying to think of his name without cheating and googling it lmao.
Why they stopped playing on arenas after 92?
The record companies were killing metal on purpose and Grunge and cRap music were being pushed... They also blacklisted all music coming into the USA from England...
warrant had a hard time playing arena's even when they headlined them in 1991 on the blood sweat and beers tour. 3/4 of that tour wasn't sold out. they didn't lack the hits to do it, but at the time, the economy was terrible in the US, and from late 1991 on, the scene changed musically.
Do you have the show from 1988 from the Ritz 12/8/88
No
I saw Warrant at the Ritz in 89 after they started playing "Where The Down Boys Go" on WSOU....They were there in 88 as well? In 89 I think they may have been opening for Paul Stanley solo...
E standard tuning!
Janie was a consume showman and near brilliant not of his career as far as songs but once grunge hit they really quit putting their best foot forward with the new songs they played live. The DED tour they picked the worst songs and on the ultra phobic tour made the same mistake. Both albums had so.e great stuff in there and they didnt push it. Not the band the record company not radio or.mtv
I agree, but maybe because they sold so poorly. Maybe the promoters had a hand in it as well.
@@paulcarlin5181 your most likely correct.. same because DED is a great album but the commercial stuff wasnt pushed and Ultraphonic had gems in it too that were buried
since the Dog Eat Dog tour lasted all of 30 gigs, I have seen a few of the setlists, which i assume are mostly the same as the shows they played in europe for that tour. they played machine gun, hole in my wall, april 2031, bonfire, bridges are burning, and inside out. most of those songs are pretty solid. i know bitter pill was played a few times, and in an acoustic setting, let it rain made it out once. that is most of the album save for 2 or 3 songs.
Machine Gun really sounds like Heartshine by Mother Love Bone. seriously.
Em killed him. He's gone
