He was probably doing swamp lizards, I could do that for like… 300 hours!
your dry sense of humor is literally my favorite.
hahaha thanks
A method I used for training mining was to collect enough gold nuggets for a coal bag from Motherlode Mine and then use it make steel platebodies. There is a spot in the Falador Mine that has an anvil, a general store, as well as iron, and coal rocks very close by to each other. This spot is very helpful for Ultimate Ironmen planning on getting a lot of mining levels all at once . I know this method is far too situational to be considered a money making method but its still a pretty decent way to get a little extra out of grinding Mining.
How it works: Make and alch steel platebodies in the Falador mine using the coal bag, or just sell whatever steel items you can make to the dwarf nearby.
Requirements: 43-55 magic, 30 to 48 smithing, 26 agility, 30 mining(Motherlode Mine access ),as well as 28 thieving if you plan on using the chest in Ardougne to collect nature runes. Profit is about 15k to 40k gradually from 30 to 48 smithing.
It takes about 16 hours to grind for a coal bag at Motherlode Mine so I would only recommend this if you plan to do a lot of mining. :)
Please do guides on zulrah suiciding, regular suiciding, and how to use a looting bag on an UIM. I'm considering starting an UIM and I would find these very useful. Thanks!
John Smith yep I can totally do that, thanks for the suggestion!
Would love to see a suiciding/looting bag guide
We need a good idea of quests to do before getting a full inventory.. Things that require you to have no items on you
The best thing i can provide you with for that is to just unlock zulrah suicide, once you have that any quest that requires a clear inventory is do-able with little to no hassle.

I'll fucking ddos you LOL
Bro I'm loving your channel man :)
Would love a guide regarding UIMs' uses of the POH, such as important milestones, what you can accomplish as an avid constructioner (50-67) and as an advanced one (67+). Also training methods, planks vs limestones etc. Keep up the good work man, loving the content!
Thank you for the suggestion and the love :)
Recently started UIM, found this video and took me 9 min into the vid to realize its settled :D.
I love the half dozen guys at the end, all stealing from that one knight and he just seems kind of annoyed by it all.
My early money makers on my uim were similar to yours, agil pyramid I'd say is the best. You'll want the agility xp anyway. I grinded fletch and wc early on and did yew longbows at gnome stronghold, there's flax spawns and a wheel right next to the yew trees so it's even less running than seers maples. It's less gp/h than pyramid but it's good for early crafting and mage xp and it's a lot more afk.
oooh i didn't even know about the gnome stronghold one! Thank you
love the content, you and UIM Link inspired me to even consider trying the game mode in the first place, but maybe just make like an over all tips and tricks video, or a video on any topic you think is important for low level UIM, I'm really looking to take my ultimate serious, possibly more serious than I've taken RS before so I want to prepare and plan a lot, but I'm worried about how to do somethings, like inventory management, and what I should be doing early on to for example not risk things in the wildy later on or what have you, this was a perfect video to help me with my progress so any info like this I'm sure will help many and even show people unsure on the game mode that hey, it's possible, come try it ya know? Thanks for the upload, keep it up. :'3
That's awesome to hear man, i'm really hoping to inspire more people to play the game mode with a few more guides, it's such an awesome game mode to experience as stupid as it may sound to people. I'll try to cover everything that i was confused about when i started the account, cheers :)
Hey settled i'm a uim too, for the first method - i made my first 500k doing the same, but theres a better place, you can do willows, yews or magics at the bottom right of the tree gnome stronghold, there is flax, the trees and up a set of stairs a wheel for spinning, its faster and easier!!
Yup another comment actually pointed this out to me, i never knew about this. Thanks for the tip!
Just how unbelievably insane would a hardcore ultimate ironman be? Lol
People have done it. If your goal is to get the max gear, then it's obviously really hard. If your goal is to max, then it's less difficult as you don't care about throwing away gear. Your max gear would essentially be like rune items.
Isn't an Ultimate Ironman the same as a Hardcore Ironman with extra requirements?
@@vytarien close , except the death mechanic helps ultimate ironman with a way store stuff for a short amount of time. Hcim get banks uim doesn't. But uim with no banking and 1 life would be super interesting as they would have to come up with tons of extra ways to store and maintain items.
@@fadew55 He's replying to me, which was only 1 1/2 months before him
Raising kittens at any level is a great way to acquire death runes. My method is using Karamwanji (the new stackable fish) as the food source for raising the kittens. After completion of the Ardy Easy Diary, you trade 1 cat (which takes 3 hrs in game time from fresh kitten) for 200 death runes. It really adds up fast when skilling/questing!! Thanks for your vids man, great content!
I did a ton of random things to make my gp at the start and you right it was a pain. I think this is a great vid to get more people started with Ultimate since getting gp at the start is the worst. keep up the great vids
That's what im goin for! thanks man :D

I love your videos man, you have wayyyy more patience than I. lol keep up the good work!
Really enjoyed the vid, keep working at them, I think a barrier to entry video would help, discussing where to begin on an ironman and kind of what direction to head in
4:45 loved doing that back in the day :D rarely see anyone else do it.
My early game money making method were the ham storerooms, since I simply love clues. Decent gp/hr, a bit of thieving xp, and like 4-5 clues an hour (maybe 2-3 in the beginning, but its more now, since I built and filled all easy stash units)
yep did those myself for a while actually, it's a good one, never did the clues tho lmao was too lazy
trying to avoid a novel here-
just want to say you are definitely a top quality content creator man.
i really appreciate the effort you put into your vids and tbh you deserve much more support!

props to you dude for playing ultimate, damn
great guide man! I'm sure ultimate ironman would find this very useful 👍
Thanks!
a good buyable food source without any reqs are jugs of wine in draynor as long as your doing something that doesn't require melee
i realised when the jail guard attacked you that ultimate ironmen are basically "suicide ironman" as opposed to hardcore ironman
That gold method was a very common money making method back in like 2006. I use to do it all the time.
:o that's good to know, thanks
Thanks for bringing it back to life though, it is really nice and nostalgic for me to see.
Do a guide on the most efficient way to train skills. I just recently made a UIM and I'm still completely stumped as to how I'm going to train Rc, Herblore, Construction, and Farming in particular.
to further elaborate - maybe you could mention which monsters drop noted items most (pure ess, gems, etc)
Video seems unnecessarily long to me. Here are the methods from the video:
1. Fletching and high alching maple longbows in Seers Village.
2. Catching imps for alchables in Puro Puro
3. Mining gold ore and smelting in TzHaar area. Craft into gold bracelets and alch them.
4. Agility pyramid.
5. Thieving Ardougne knights.
Thank god he did not just stretch it to 10min for add revenue and algorythms.
thank god I can watch in 1.5x speed
Also a barrows guide would be nice as I'm just used to tely on my main.
"Hunter goes real fast" Takes me 2-3 weeks for 83.. FML :(
Lul poor guy
Hey it's Rob from we play hard, didn't even know you made vids dude, subbed and hungry for more!
:D
0:38 "I'll fukin ddos you" 😂
I've got a crazy mining circuit going, if your interested, never seen anyone else talk about it
Starting at motherload mine I fill the sack, the first withdrawal is all runite and addy, so I tele to the blast furnace with minigame tab.
I load the ore on the belt, hop to bf world, and quickly hop back, then process the ores into rune swords (best gp per bar till 99) and addy pl8, then take the minecart back to ice mountain and top up sack in motherload mine. The next withdrawal from the sack gives some addy, I drop the mith and gold (or superheat and alch at a loss for mage xp) and note how many addy bars I can superheat when the sack contains only coal. My next stop is the mining guild, where I superheat and poach runite from worldhoppers until I only have room for enough addy to empty the coal from mlm sack. Run north to anvil and back to mlm. End circuit.
Zulrah, Wyverns, Slayer alchs, RC, Thieving, few mill from Smithing to 99, some GP from PC for prayer. That are really the only relevant and needed methods
that's why this video was focused on low level money making methods....
Sooo, thieving? I mean, these other methods you mention in the video are nice and fun methods for people that aren't aiming for huge efficiency, but far from great. The only 'great' method would be to just do thieving, as you can start practically right off with that and it will give you plenty of cash in the early game + you're not wasting time.
Do whichever method suits you, that's why there are multiple options
+The Sleazehound Thanks for saying what I already said myself in my comment.
The Sleazehound Didn't exactly seem like it, but alright
Ik would like going see a noted food guide for UIM skillers :)
0:36 Settled is the reason behind the hacks. He's the culprit. Sic em boys.
shhhhhhhhhhhhhh
i am an uim can you do a construction video please :) this one was very good :)
Ddos the jail guard lmao
Nice vid helped me alot :D
subbed man just based on your ability as a player
Could you do a video on how and when to start certain skills and good ways to power level them as a uim for example construction or mining/smithing
if you want to put your money somewhere maybe you could do it in the moneypouch near dominic? not sure but i think its worth a try :p
i suggest new uim starting guide this is outdated & it makes me sad
i started my uim today and i just did steel plateleg spawns in wildy with wines from draynor village 1gp ea, got 60k atm.
yeah that's a very good one aswell, i tried to stay away from wildy methods to appeal to any ultimates who don't want to go there. However if you're smart about it and it works that's awesome
You sound like Casually Explained
On my Ult, (IGN: Fredewick) Im rather partial to killing Blue/Black Drags, tanning the hides, making Blue/Black dhide bodies and high alching them.
that's a very good one but the requirements are prettty high
what uim skills to train first and why, plus a outline on how to go about it
Please make a bank video
Yo Settled it would be cool if you could do a multiple herblore training methods guide. You know besides doing slayer for herbs.
I could possibly do that, however i only know of 2 other herblore methods probably don't compare to spectres. I'll see what i can do :)
Some skilling methods would be nice.. (This would help me after RC lol) :D
hmmm, anything in specific?
Not really.. Maybe some unique ones you have found out or something like that.
Nice video
Normal ironman here:
Is it worth it creating an ult ironman? I play ironman for the feeling of accomplishment but playing ult ironman just seems too slow. Could you make a video describing the pros and cons about being an ultimate ironman?
There are no pros and cons to a more restricting game mode, at the end of the day you play what you think is fun. I enjoy the sense of accomplishment, being a bit patient is just part of the game mode, can't really change that
my early money making method was fish lobster and sell from fish shop lol
lmao, is that decent..?
You definitely fail at 70 agility still when doing agility pyramid.
Love the video tho!!
"I'd like to show a few money making methods that don't require much time to get to"
first example requires 55 fletching, 45 woodcutting, 28 thieving, 55 magic, 10 crafting
yeah sure. I'm trying to figure out how to make money to buy runes to get up to 55 magic, so incredibly unhelpful
Legend?
bro how do I get nats the fastest for alching?
You can buy them from Wizard's guild or Ali Morrisane
Hey Settled, I was wondering if PC is a viable method to train combat early on. What are your thoughts?
It's actually quite good early on due to the fact that you get money while playing, also you can store void sets in your house with the points and you'll need a ton of PC point later on for prayer training. I give it a thumbs up!
Settled thank you for the advice :D
I know it's way past the point, but wouldn't the first method be better by making an inventory of bowstrings then walk to the tree? You can fletch, string, and alch in the same spot, opening more inventory as you cut logs.
why fletch string and alch in one spot when you can use the walking animation time?
@@houstond1755 Half as many trips.
I couldnt see the nature runes in your inv, im confused how you were alching
I am in desperate need of an ultimate ironman guide for herblore. Not high level herblore, i'm talking 12-30 after recruitment drive is done. Hell, high level too, but i need 30 herb before i do my other achieve diaries
Yeah i'll think about this one too, thank you.
This video is for Mages, not me
four bastards who don't want to make money... smh... sett, you should make moneymaker guides to others as well haha, making more gp per hour than those wanker mains. ;-)
loved your video and made my first mill with fletching method hehe.
the lack of guides is why i dont try an uim
Just do slayer and 10.000 wyverns after that use the supplies and you never have money problems FeelsGoodMan:D
40 smithing and mining is really easy. Do Dorac's Quest and Knights Sword.
Ez pz hardcores.
subbed so you don't die lol
and olso how you train your construction ty
i am but a simple person
1. Slayer
How do you note items as an ultimate iron man...?
Zamorak warriors are better for getting a rune scimy, fyi
What pyramid is this?
For your first method if you have the lvl for magics is it worth it?
oh yeah absolutely, it gets to be some crazy money with yews and magics especially, but 85 fletching would be quite difficult
crafting and how you get rune pouch
make a guide for f2p UIM plox
you should plug Dbobs clan in your video !

i'd like a guide on how to do construction efficiently right now my method to get to 42 which allowed me to store my graceful i was going varrock to sawmill cutting oaks and making planks into larders not sure if theres a better way and how u go about storing certain items such as ur rogue outfit is there a certain level needed to store multiple outfits? or do u need to make multiple rooms etc
The rogues outfit in particular goes into the armor case, upgrading your wardrobes/armor cases allows you to store more than one in each, and for the method you were using, i believe that is the best method until you the do the enlightened journey quest, which allows you to use a balloon for faster travel to the sawmill.
Do you use osbuddy?

Wtf am i doing here now
which client do you use?
