Coco EDT was my first perfume, and my signature, when I was in high school in the 80s. The current formulation is nice, but doesn’t scratch the itch when I want that Coco opulence. I returned a contemporary bottle because I just won’t wear it. I have a vintage bottle, batch code ML1 from 1989, and it is THE glorious, full-bodied expression of Coco EDT. I wear it sparingly because I’m afraid of being without this time capsule from my life. I love how you described perfume as both protection and attraction. Nailed it!

I used to love Coco. It's still ok, but nothing like before. Cinnabar smells icky too now, used to be one of my favourites also. Obsession and Shalimar,the same. I wish they still made NU and Black Cashmere. I love Smokey ,spicy scents. Sensuous and Sensuous Nude are still nice, especially the Nude. It has a nice coconut smell( not that cheap , suntan lotion like smell, like most coconut scents) There was a Italian Jasmine one that I liked( made in France), but they discontinued it. I hope you make more perfume review videos. I just discovered you and found this one, so I'm still searching. I love incense too. I used to know one that smelled like Nag Champa, but yes, discontinued!
I literally just bought a bottle of Coco EDP just now. I’m kicking off my birthday week with Chanel perfume, an Hermes scarf and a new iPhone 14 pro max. More shopping tomorrow.
