I had the privelege of helping to playtest Gary's original War in the East with a couple of incredible wargamers , Mike Musser and Richard Hooks , who sadly have now passed on. I kinda dropped out of the hobby after Gary put out War in the Pacific , in which I had helped with Historical research . Gary if you see this I just want to say Bravo , you were a first class historian then , and from what I see now , you've only improved.
I’m planning on doing an “advanced TB/air video” that will discuss exactly that. In order to preserve pilots, it’s good to hide your old planes until you can upgrade.
I completely agree except for the cam part. Something about being able to see a real person struggling is compelling in certain cases (something that the esports nerds figured out). That said I think it’s very hard to make this game look good on video, and the cam certainly doesn’t help, as it just adds a visual distraction. I’ll definitely try making some without it, or with a sparser use of the cam (rather than the annoying streamer style one). I wish I could record in layers so that I could mix in match at will.
@@seanblambert Hi, I like your videos and I usually never comment, but I personally don't like cams. I don't want to offend people making their videos but a talking head in the corner is annoying. Anyway that being said I do find your videos very helpful and am grateful you make them.

seams like the audio is like 0.3 to 0.5 sec behind the vidiostream
Maybe. I only record at 30fps so it also could be some upscaling issue. I don’t see it
tips
1) take out cam, no one cares
2) voice is awesome, made for radio and youtube
3) intro way too long, nobody cares, get into it right away
