I am importing models designed in the US, into the UK. I grew up metric, but before I could use your trick, I was designing in imperial, and I actually love it, love the whole fraction thing!

      You can even skip 20 seconds of more jibber jabber...so 2:56 works also

    I am a bit of a greenhorn to 3D modeling. Would this work for converting a 3D scan file from inches to feet? I am making a maquette to be scanned and converted to a massive scale.

    LOL most CNC do not want metric, this is completely false. You would be hard pressed to find a professional shop that uses metric. Metric is the noob choice of measurement

    1. Left panel > Document Settings > Units. Or,
    2. Enter "mm" or "in" after you enter your value.
    This was unwatchable even at 2x speed. People find videos like this when they are looking for an answer to a question, not a story. Next time, get to the point.

    Oh and Americans.... please........... just PLEASE use the right Metric conversion when you are going to euhhhhhh FUEL UP MY PLANE THANK YOU !!!!!! I euhhhhh do not care so much for a plane with empty tanks ABOVE THE OCEAN !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
