Great tutorial! Always learn something new from your videos... I've done threads several times, but never created the mating parts as one and then split them like you demonstrated here. Much easier method... thanks you for opening my eyes..👍👍
Another excellent tutorial. Right to the point covering everything succinctly. I’ve avoided modelling threads but with what you’ve shown I’ll be giving a go. Top job! Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺
I literally just modelled up an egg for a splice form I'm trying to work on. I definitely used more than two points. 😂 Great video!! I will be putting this to use going forward. Love your content! PS. I'm also working on a bird feeder. I would LOVE your perspective on how would you tackle modelling a cedar shingled roof
Do you have any recommendations for tutorials that cover what to do for threads that don't print well? I've done a couple designs with them now, and I've had to get a bit creative to get things to not sieze up most of the time. I've typically used the push pull tool to shift the threads around a bit, but that never feels quite right for whatever reason
Hi Mistaecco. If the threads are touching the build plate while printing, make sure to clean up the edges with a deburring tool. You see me do this in the video. I was able to print this without having to go back to add an offset to increase the clearance. This is automatically built into the Fusion 360 thread tool. You can try different thread profiles. Some will print better than others. You can also try increasing the resolution - print at 0.1mm layer height.
Hi, thank you so much for this tutorial. But how can I empty the inside of the egg? Do you have another tutorial about it? I am a rookie. Thank you again ☺️

Thank you so much for this information !
You're welcome Christoph!
Wow, such an elegant design and design approach 🙂
Thanks!
Absolutely one of your best, your design was so simple, I learned a lot!
Thanks Adam! Glad to hear it!
As always, you've conceived and demonstrated a really excellent and elegant approach. Great video!
I was really hoping you were going to call it an Eggcellent or Eleggant approach, but I am sure he took the complement anyway. 😁

Great little video. Thanks for showing us the tips. I am enjoying your Udemy course at the moment.
Awesome! Glad to hear it.
Having trouble creating the shell on the top half. Any suggestions?
When I revolve the bottom half of the sketch, the top half dissapears. Is there any way to stop it from dissapearing
